In this world of ever changing talks of exposure, Phenom Hoops makes it a point to put a premium on making sure every kid who comes to our camps and tournaments is seen by the people who are able to directly help them fulfill their dream of playing at the next level. Yesterday we spoke about the immediate impact of having college coaches at the event. With over 1,200 college coaches in attendance in 2016, the thousands of prospects who attended Phenom Hoops events were seen directly. When you add in the 150+ colleges who subscribe to Phenom Hoops NCAA compliant recruiting service, there were a lot of recruitments to begin due to the attendance of Phenom Hoops events.

Over 109,000,000 Impressions in 2016 Alone!

An impression is defined as an “ad view”, it refers to the point in which an ad is viewed by a visitor or displayed on their screen (be it computer or phone). The number of impressions of a particular post or ad is determined by the number of times that particular post or ad is located and loaded.

On Twitter, Phenom Hoops gets over 300,000 (three hundred thousand) impressions per day. That turns into 9,000,000 (nine million) impressions per month, which is roughly 109,500,000 (one hundred nine thousand five hundred) impressions per year. This means that, on Twitter alone, tweets from Phenom Hoops were viewed 109,000,000 times in 2016.

Not only were we able to get over 109,000,000 views on Twitter, in 2016, almost all of our events (will have 30 total in 2017) trended nationally number one on Twitter. Many of these events did so for multiple days during the event, and some did so for a day or two both before and after the event.

The nation’s eyes firmly planted on what prospects are doing at and during Phenom Hoops’ events.

Over 10,000,000 Website Views

If you get an opportunity, check out the Phenom Hoops website (naturally it is the entirety of what this article is written on). The website is a major tool we use to get prospects seen. Our website gets over 30,000 (thirty thousand) views per day. That comes out to 900,000 (nine hundred thousand) views per month, which in turn gets 10,800,000 (ten million eight hundred thousand) views per year.

Every single player who comes to our camps, be it a Phenom 150 camp or a Top 80 camp, will get a write up. That means when their name is searched on the internet, be it by scouts, coaches, or their family, every prospect will find something about them. Every article on our site is free, there is no paywall, we want everyone to read about all of the prospects we write about.

Not only are people able to search each player organically, but we also email blast and tweet out each player write up to make sure that people are able to see the write ups.

So What Does This Mean'

This amount of exposure is a reason why all of Phenom Hoops’ events are well attended. Every one of our 25 events held in 2016 sold out. That goes for Exposure Camps, AAU Tournaments, and High School Showcases. Many of these events sold out numerous weeks in advance. People see the exposure provided, and want to be a part of it.

Media Value Around 1.5 Million

Media Value is the return on investment (ROI) of the media coverage of an individual event. This includes what each media member said in website views, social media views, television views, print media views, and any other place where media members tell about events.

Typically, for marketers to put a media value on an individual event, they put it at $1 per view. For Phenom’s National Showcase alone the media value on that event was 1,012,248 on social media, 230,000 on print media, 160,000 on youtube, and 2,200 on live steam. This puts Phenom’s National Showcase Media Value alone around 1.5 million.

Not only does Phenom Hoops bring the exposure, we gladly open our doors to other media and scouts to see the players. Nationally view outlets such as USA Today, Slam Magazine, 247 Sports, Rivals.com, Scout.com, ESPN, Yahoo!, Ball is Life, Elite Mixtapes and many other publications regularly attend Phenom Hoops’ events. The media value brought is through the roof. Not only does the Phenom Hoops website get over 10 million views per year, but each of these sites get millions of views as well. Prospects are seen!

Exposure!

Exposure is the key to earning scholarships. When choosing where to spend your money you have to look at every aspect of the event and the amount of exposure is in direct correlation to recruitment. Phenom Hoops provides many ways for prospects to be seen, which is why we built our organization on the platform of exposure.

The word has gotten out, prospects gain maximum exposure at every Phenom Hoops event they attend. 2017 will be bigger and better than ever, prospects will be seen and scholarships will be earned.
