Player: Parker McDaniel
Class: 2028
School: South Central Prep

Eyes have been following 2028 6’3 Parker McDaniel from South Central Prep, as he has been having a stellar season so far for his team. Offers continue to come in, and interests are starting to pile up from other high-major schools, as several schools from the Big Ten have been coming strong his way. He even has a few visits set up coming up, as Phenom Hoops was able to speak to him about all the latest.

Start of the Season:

“The season has started off great for our team; I’m averaging 19 ppg so far this season. I have shown that I can shoot at a high level right now, as I’m shooting above 50 percent from 3, and I feel like I have done a great job scoring at all 3 levels as well. I want to grow in having energy at all times, not just when the good is going on, but when we are down because people feed off the energy I give.”

Game Description:

“I would best describe my game as an elite shooter. I use my ability to shoot to get to my pull-up and to the rim. Most people know me as an elite scorer coming off a top 3 scorer in the 3ssb circuit last year. So, I would say just an elite scorer.”

Recruitment Update:

“I currently hold seven offers from California, Sam Houston State, Oral Roberts, Mississippi State, Louisiana Tech, Hawaii, and UTEP,” Parker told Phenom Hoops. UTEP was the latest school to offer Parker, receiving it when his team played the City Reapers at the Thanksgiving Hoopfest, where he finished with 19 points, four assists, and 3 steals in a big win.

However, it seems like more programs could be entering the picture, and he has multiple visits coming up. Schools like Purdue, Indiana, Oklahoma State, Baylor, West Virginia, Drake, and Arkansas State have all expressed interest at some point, with Purdue and Indiana really coming strong his way.

Parker also has three visits coming up:
Purdue – December 5-6
Indiana – December 8-9
Baylor – Still working on Exact Dates
