Player: Kenyon St. Louis
Class: 2028
School: Winston-Salem Christian

The guard play here in North Carolina for the Class of 2028 has been incredible, as players continue to elevate and develop their game and should be seeing their stock rise quickly. One of those guards has been 2028 Kenyon St. Louis from Winston-Salem Christian, a new name that came to NC this past offseason and has been proving his game in a big way.

We watched him to start the season and were highly impressed with his feel at his age, as our scouts had this to say recently about him:

“The Class of 2028 is already loaded with some talented point guards, including AJ Morman, Micah Gunter, Sherod McCormick, and others. But St. Louis may be in the discussion to surpass them all, or at least prove he is in the same discussion with all of them.  St. Louis really displayed a strong feel for the game at his age; he flourished in controlling the game, playing at a terrific pace and not being sped up, showing tremendous vision in finding his teammates, and makes the right decisions.  And then when you add his touch on his floater, his ability to defend at his size, and his shot-making from outside, St. Louis brings a lot to the table. And there is still potential within his game as he continues to adjust to the play here in the US.”

With his play, big-time college programs are starting to really take notice as he has added a few new offers. Phenom Hoops was able to catch up with the point guard to find out the latest.

Recruitment Update:

St. Louis has seen a steady uptick in his recruitment, including earning a new offer from a program right down the road. It was announced that Wake Forest is his latest offer, one he is excited to earn.

“They came to one of our open practices in October,” St. Louis said. “They talked to my coaches and said they would be in touch. I’ve been playing well throughout the season, and they wanted to offer me. They called my coaches and told me about the offer.”

“I know CP3 and Tim Duncan went there,” he continued. “So, NBA-level talent has been there. The thing that stands out to me early on about them is that is just 15 minutes down the road.”

As of right now, St. Louis has earned offers from Wake Forest, Florida State, LIU, Arizona State, Morgan State, High Point, Mississippi State, and UNLV. Right now, he doesn’t have any visits set up in the near future.
