Prolific Prep has been a factory when it comes to high-level talent, and that continues this year with an impressive roster under head coach Ryan Bernardi.  Getting a chance to watch them in action over the last week at The Grind Session, one of the biggest storylines was having Top-10 prospect 2026 Caleb Holt back on the floor.

And he quickly proved why he is one of the top prospects in his class and a highly coveted recruit for programs around the country.

Against Southeastern Prep, another premier program in the country this season, Holt went off in leading the charge with an impressive 26-point, 16-rebound statline to secure the win. Phenom Hoops had another opportunity to watch him on Tuesday night, with Holt finishing with 18 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in a dominating win vs. Florida Coastal Prep.

With Holt back in the lineup for Prolific Prep, we were eager to see what he could bring to the court, and he was impressive throughout both contests. As a 6’5 prospect, Holt impacts the game in so many ways and embraces being “the guy” on the court. Holt has a strong overall build at his size that he understands and uses well, getting downhill, forcing the action, battling through opponents, and finishing strong at the rim or through contact. But he is an impressive multi-level scorer, finding his spots, scoring impressively from the mid-range and over defenders, and also being a smooth weapon from behind the arc; he has no issue operating wherever the defense allows him. He is a force no matter where he is on the court, scoring off the bounce, pulling up, playing off the catch, and really dictating the action overall. But then you talk about his play in other areas, bringing energy on the glass, competing and creating extra opportunities, delivering on-point passes to his teammates, and bringing value as a defender. When watching him on the court, one can see why he is one of the more complete overall players in his class and in contention as the top player in the country.

His recruitment will be a hot topic for many, as he has taken visits to Houston, Alabama, Arizona, Kentucky, and other areas in the past.  Right now, Jamie Shaw has a 30-percent chance of him committing to either Houston, Alabama, or Arizona, as it looks come down to those three schools.
