Player: Emmanuel Okitondo
Class: 2024
School: Combine Academy
Height: 6’8

There are still several steals in the Class of 2024 for college programs, and one that some may need a reminder about is 2024 6’8 Emmanuel Okitondo. Though he had a setback this year, before that he showcased his ability to be an impact player. And now he is looking to get back on the court and show more of his game.

When we watched the 6’8 prospect in action, one couldn’t look past his motor and energy that he played with. He wasn’t the focal point in the offense but he also created for himself and helped make winning plays. He uses his length well, competes on the glass for second-chance opportunities, and understands where he can be valuable. Finishes at the rim, runs the floor well, is always engaged, and just finds ways to get open around the basket.  If I was a program, he would be one that I would circle back to and check out, as he could be a nice late piece in the Class of 2024.

What Was Said:

“The 6’8 long and athletic forward made big play after big play for his team, making key winning plays that might not always receive the flare or flash. But it is what helps win games, and Okitondo will be a key piece for this team’s success. He was competitive and active on the glass, battling through contact and finding ways to create second-chance opportunities or coming up with key rebounds to seal the win. With his motor, he becomes a valuable piece for this team and can make and play several positions on the court. A strong finisher, athletic, and competitive, he is one that after watching him more can be a valuable piece for a program.”
