Players to Watch for at Phenom’s High School Jam Fest Session III: Lincoln Charter

6’2 ’19 Jackson Gabriel This season, the shooter from Lincoln Charter is set to break the North Carolina record for three-pointers made in a career. Gabriel has been this player for quite a while, but he’s just consistently worked on his craft, becoming one of the...

Bendel’s Best: Phenom’s High School Jam Fest Columbia (Part 2)

6’11 ’19 Malcolm Wilson (Ridge View) There wasn’t a single prospect more visually-striking than Malcolm Wilson, the 6-foot-11 big man from the heart of Columbia. He entered this event with more Division I offers than anyone else and for good reason, since he possesses...

Bendel’s Best: Phenom’s High School Jam Fest Columbia

Immediately after our Phenom HS Jam Fest concluded in Greensboro, North Carolina, we headed to Columbia, South Carolina for our second session. The turnout was excellent, featuring teams from three states, and some of the top teams from the Palmetto-state. This...

Ahmad Harrison 6’0 150 2021 Mount Washington School (MD)/Team Thrill UAA

Ahmad is an elite athlete, a quick and charismatic playmaker with a strong point guard skill set and a great feel for the game. He is a very good decision maker who makes quick reads and can get to the rim or find a cutter and deliver pinpoint passes while on the...

Phenom Hoop Report – Jason Nelson

Jason Nelson 5’10 155 2021 Team Loaded VA/Varina High School (Henrico VA) So where should I start when commenting on Jason Nelson? The freshman sensation has already led his Varina High School team to a state championship so he has already conquered what all players...

Storylines to monitor: After Phenom Summer Jam

Bendel’s Best: Phenom High School Jam Fest (Part 2)

6’1 ’21 Breon Pass (Reidsville) In terms of high-upside prospects, there were very few players who impacted the game more than Breon Pass. The 6-foot-1 combo guard has started coming into his own through passing, scoring, and forcing turnovers at a frequent rate....

Phenom High School Jam Fest Team Previews: Ashbrook High School

Key Returners: 6’5 ’20 James Dotson Dotson was the most improved player on varsity last year, as an all-purpose prospect with the ability to affect both sides of the ball. At 6-foot-5, he has huge potential as a game-changing rebounder. 5’8 ’21 Chris Britt Britt...

Phenom High School Jam Fest Team Previews: Barlett Yancey

Key Newcomer: 6’0 ’20 Khalil Clay Clay is not a newcomer in the traditional sense, as he played on the JV team last year and had pretty solid numbers across the board. He joins the varsity squad looking to build off his 18 points and 5 assists per game numbers. Key...

Phenom High School Jam Fest Team Previews: Myers Park

Key Returners: 6’6 ’19 Duwe Farris Combo-forward with a lot of college interest; he possesses great size and shooting ability from all levels. He averaged 10 points per game while shooting above 50% from the floor and 40% from beyond three-point range. Currently...
