Four-star guard Joseph Hartman (Class of 2026, 6′5, The Rock School, FL) has officially committed to Michigan, choosing the Wolverines over schools like Minnesota, Iowa, Butler, and Dayton.
Hartman brings a strong, versatile skill set to Ann Arbor. He combines size and strength with ball-handling, shot-making, and the ability to attack the paint. He’s also shown he can space the floor and knock down triples — one of his stand-out strengths.
With Hartman now in the fold, Michigan adds another high-upside perimeter piece to its 2026 class. The relationship between Hartman and Michigan’s coaching staff runs deep — they recruited him even before arriving at Ann Arbor — and that trust, plus his all-around game, makes him a potentially early contributor.
