2027 Charles Chienggan Pur (Team United):
Pur really impressed and could quickly become a national name with what we saw. His overall impact on both sides on the court was impressive, displaying footwork and feel in the post, his ability to run rim to rim, and his activity level on the boards as well as defensively. Pur was off the charts in controlling the paint and blocking shots.
2027 Julian Hernandez (FBP):
We quickly learned about Hernandez and his confidence as a shooter, and he only reminded us of that again on another day. The young prospect flourished in his ability to be a scorer and knockdown shooter, showing tremendous range from behind the arc as he hit 9 3-pointers twice this week, and shot the ball well all throughout.
2027 Justin Vining (Carolina Pressure):
Vining is another new name that we started to learn more about. He averaged around 15 points per game and really flourished with his ability to be a smooth operator and playmaker. He was able to create and get to his spots, attack and get inside the defense, show nice touch on his shot, and made plays out in the open court. Vining was very consistent throughout the week for his team.
2027 Jamarion Washington (7th Nation Warriors):
Washington was extremely consistent all throughout the event, being a natural scorer and creator, making plays for himself and others, scoring well and showing ability to be a playmaker as well. Tough young scrappy prospect who can score at a high level and did so for his team all throughout, as he was his team’s top scorer in several of his games.
2027 Marlon Knight (Georgia Ignites):
The 6’2 prospect really captured some eyes with his play in Raleigh. Not only did he put up a big 49-point performance, but he backed that up with another strong showing when watching. He has a nice blend of size, a strong frame that allows him to get downhill, and shows that he can be a multi-level scorer with good range.
2027 Corban Woodard (WCBA):
Woodard has been having a good summer and has been opening more eyes with his game here in North Carolina. Whether it was at the Team Camp or during the LIVE Period, Woodard possesses intriguing size, creativity, and a skill set that allows him to flourish in a variety of ways. Weaves through traffic finishes in transition, finishes through contact, and can score in a multitude of ways.
