Personally, being out in the Charlotte area (for myself only), I don’t always get a chance to check out all the talent out east as much as I would like to. The Phenom Stay Positive though allowed East Carolina Elite to come through and bring some names to the table that caught my eye. We dive into a little bit of what we saw.
2025 TJ Brown – JH Rose High School
High School Season Stats: 8.7ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.4apg
Brown was a strong part to the team’s success this past weekend, really showing his ability to stretch the floor, knock down shots with range, and be a threat from behind the arc. But he also mixed it up well and played with tremendous energy on both ends.
2025 Jonah Holt – Swansboro
High School Season Stats: 16.0ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.7apg
Holt was another prospect who brought strong value and versatility for his team. The 6’3 prospect brings size for his position, a smooth demeanor to the court, and was able to flourish inside and out on the court offensively. He was comfortable off the ball, knocking down open shots, but also created well for himself, also active in other ways for his team.
2025 Jermaine Cunningham – Swansboro
High School Season Stats: 15.0ppg, 7.2rpg, 5.0apg, 2.4spg
When you watch Cunningham’s game on the court, you can see how his stats line up with his production. He is a big-framed prospect who can play multiple positions for his team, impacts the game in a variety of ways, is strong and physical on the boards, and makes good decisions in finding teammates as well as a scoring option.
