The talent coming out of Virginia was on full display at Phenom Rock Hill LIVE, as several players and programs made strong impressions throughout the weekend in front of college coaches and scouts. From skilled guards creating plays and scoring at a high level to physical forwards impacting the paint and glass, Virginia prospects consistently showcased toughness, versatility, and production on the big stage. With multiple players continuing to elevate their stock this summer, the state once again proved it has plenty of talent worth tracking closely moving forward. Here is what our scouts had to say from the event.
2028 Tevaughn Bell (Team Loaded 757)
The 6’5 prospect was really good throughout the event and should be garnering some looks. He was able to lead his team in scoring and rebounding, flourishing with his athleticism and size throughout the event. He impacts the game on both sides of the floor, playing with a high motor, and being able to operate from multiple levels on the court.
2027 Nasir Jenkins (Team Loaded 757)
Jenkins brought a strong physical presence to the floor. With his big frame and toughness, Jenkins consistently battled through contact, finished well in traffic, and made his impact felt in so many areas for his team. His willingness to play physical and compete gave his team a reliable presence throughout the event.
2027 Samuel Naidyhorski (Team Loaded 757)
Naidyhorski proved to be an intriguing forward prospect with his versatility and effectiveness. He brings good size and touch in the paint, finishing well through defenders and around the rim, while also showing the ability to step out and be a scoring threat from the perimeter. His blend of size and offensive versatility makes him a prospect worth tracking closely.
2027 Jovan Vortic (Dream 34)
Vortic was a forward who earned our attention at the event. He has a good frame and used that to his advantage, operating and finishing well around the basket. Vortic showed touch and feel along with strong footwork, but also was able to shine with his overall hustle on the court. He was valuable in several ways and areas on the court for his size.
2028 Aiden Williams (VA Havoc)
Williams is a lanky, skilled guard who continues to show intriguing upside on both ends of the floor. With a strong handle and a deep offensive bag, Williams consistently gets to the rim and creates scoring opportunities off the bounce. His length allows him to shoot over defenders comfortably, while defensively, he impacts the game with active hands, steals, and blocked shots.
2027 Isaac Radde (VA Havoc)
Radde was one that looked and hunted for his offensive shot, displaying good range and confidence from behind the arc but also has a strong frame that allows him to attack and find openings to score. He was a strong overall presence on the offensive and defensive end all weekend long.
2027 Yandel Robles (VA Havoc)
Robles showcased his ability as a confident shot-maker and creator throughout the event. Robles excelled with the ball in his hands, attacking off the bounce, getting downhill, and consistently putting pressure on the defense. His energy, aggressiveness, and ability to create scoring opportunities made him a strong offensive presence on the court.
