2029 Isayah David (Maryland Knights)
Another player for the Maryland Knights, I couldn’t help but notice the energy and impact that David had on his team. A tremendous glue guy that does what is needed, makes plays all over the court, and plays with intensity throughout. Whether it was providing a scoring threat, attacking the glass, making defensive plays, or bringing overall versatility, he made himself noticeable on the court.
2030 Naomi Roland (FBC Drive)
Roland was one who quickly caught our attention with her size, around 6 feet, but also her overall fluidity at her size. She is comfortable from multiple levels on the court, inside and out and was tremendous in creating extra opportunities for her team when she attacked the glass. Just seemed to find her hands on everything, defended well, and displayed versatility as a young prospect with size.
2030 Zoey Longsworth (Carolina Flames)
Longsworth made it well known early on that she looks to be one of the better shooters, possibly at the event, as she stretched the floor in a big way with her ability to knock down shots from behind the arc. A confident and consistent shot from behind the arc, but also displayed the ability to be a multi-level scorer as well. Led her team in a big way on Day 1 when on the court.
2031 Kierra Williams (Team Thrill)
Williams quickly caught our eyes with her stellar play, and she could be trending early as a guard to seriously watch down the road. A dynamic guard that was able to fill it up and be a true creator on the court, she flourished with her ability to get by defenders, play with pace and speed, attack ff the bounce, and knock down shots from all levels. Impressive showing from the young guard here on Day 1.
2030 Chase Petit (NY Gauchos)
It was made clear early and often that Petit could be a player to certainly pay attention to this weekend. As a young prospect, he presents good overall size but surprised us with how smooth he can operate and play from multiple levels. He uses his size and touch well around the basket, finishing well in the paint but can easily operate from the perimeter as well, bringing a strong blend of feel, skill, and size to his team.
2032 Harley Lee (AL Southern Starz)
Lee was absolutely filling it up on the court on Day 1, and it was clear that she has a chance to be a name to firmly watch in the coming years. A strong start to her overall game with her size and feel, being able to turn defense into offense, making plays off the bounce, creating for herself, and just plays with overall poise on the court. An excellent overall feel for the game at a player her age, and one to jot down and watch in the coming years.
2032 William Coulter (DRave)
One of two players that caught my eye immediately, Coulter has a lot of early factors that have to intrigue you in what he may ultimately be. Standing around 6’4 or so and with tremendous length early on, Coulter does a great job in running from rim to rim, operating with touch around the basket, and showing early flashes of being a prospect you may be hearing about down the road. We can only expect that he will continue to grow and have tremendous size, if you add in continued development, Coulter has a chance to be a name you hear about a lot more down the road.
2032 Clinton Gay (DRave)
The son of Rudy Gay, Clinton Gay, was able to flourish and lead by example on the court. Much like his teammate, he has a lot of early factors in his game that allow him to be successful. Gay has tremendous early size, moves well, shows a strong understanding and feel at his position, can score effectively around the basket, and makes his presence felt on both sides of the ball. With continued development and family background, Gay looks to be a name worth tracking now.
2029 Ricardo Oriel (Apex Spurs)
Oriel is a familiar name on the Phenom Hoops platform, and this is the same event we actually helped discover his talent not long ago. He is back with Apex Spurs looking to make noise, and he showed up on Day 1 being a dynamic, playmaking guard that does it all. Whether it is scoring, facilitating, creating, and being an impact guard, Oriel provides a lot on the court as a leader, and it was easily seen on Day 1.
