The Upward Stars Columbia program always seems to bring Phenom Hoops new and intriguing names to watch for in the coming years. Well, that remains the same after this past weekend, as we had a great chance to watch several new players that will now be on our radar down in South Carolina. Here is what we had to say about each.

2027 Terrion Mack

“2027 Terrion Mack was impressive throughout the. Loved his ability to push in transition, strong handles and ability to create, battled off defenders, and scored in a variety of ways. Impacted the game in other ways also for his team; true competitive nature.

“Mack was a newer name for us here at Phenom Hoops, and he consistently produced impressively. He is a tough, scrappy guard who competes on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he can push in transition, embrace contact and fight through defenders, attack off the bounce, and knock down shots with his pull-up game. He also battles hard on the boards and makes plays for others. You also have to notice his willingness to compete on the defensive end.”

2027 Brayden Mack

2027 Brayden Mack was a strong overall creator on the court. Really like his pace and feel, sees the floor well, scores off the bounce, but plays well within the offense. Active on both sides. Overall, I liked his pace of play, his playmaking ability, and his ability to control the game.

2027 Avery Georgiana-Richardson

2027 Avery Georgiana Richardson is a strong playmaking guard that was able to get downhill. Good athleticism overall, can get to the rim, and was an effective scoring option. He was able to get to the rim consistently, including a few strong highlight plays. Overall though, he was an effective scorer on the court who brought a good motor.
