His motor runs wide open from start to finish. Terrell is young; he’ll graduate at 17 years old. Giving up soccer has enabled him to focus on basketball for the first time in his life. Personal: Terrell is a 3-sport participant at Tabb High School playing football and soccer as well as basketball. He is also an All Group 4A Region Soccer Selection by league coaches in addition to his many basketball honors.
Coach Frank says: Terrell is a very athletic and physically gifted guard capable of playing either guard position. He has a high basketball IQ, dribbles with purpose, and has excellent leadership skills providing a positive and enthusiastic demeanor and influence on and off the court. A powerful yet crafty and shifty playmaker, Terrell does not turn the ball over and uses his dribble to create scoring opportunities for teammates as well as get to the basket where he is an excellent finisher. He can score with great shot consistency at all three levels and is an excellent decision maker. He rebounds the basketball very well; his explosiveness allows him to be effective in traffic. Defensively Terrell displays that same explosive quickness and lateral mobility and is a tough and disruptive on ball defender. A player with sound basketball feel and knowledge he plays at a high level in all phases of the game and his energy and high motor effort are contagious. Underexposed playing in a small media market, Terrell is as skilled as any in the 2015 class in the 757 area.
