One of the more underrated prospects in the state of Virginia has to be Miller School’s 6’3 senior TK Bryant.  Why' Well, this New York prospect has been putting up some impressive numbers as a point guard, really leading the charge this season and making an impact in multiple areas. This season, Bryant has been posting numbers like 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 3.5 steals per game, showing how much he can make a mark on a game, on both ends.

Numbers like that should grab some type of attention, especially against the opponents they have played against. Right now though, no offers are on the table but a handful of low-major D1’s are showing interest, along with some high-level D2’s.

Talking to the player:

How would you best describe your game and how you impact the court'
Bryant: “I would say the best way to describe my game is an all-around player. I love to defend and make my opponents understand that it’s not going to be easy to score on me. I feel like when I’m on the floor, I make my teammates better, I try to make the best decision every time, play my heart out; just go out there and leave everything out there. I can score if we really need a basket and just do whatever I need to do for the team to win.”

How have you improved on the floor over the past season or so'
Bryant: “So, last season, I was sidelined due to a meniscus injury and me needing surgery. Watching the game taught me a lot. Learned how to move at my own pace and control the game. Learned how to control my attitude because I use to play with so many emotions that I would be all over the place. I definitely gained a lot of confidence in my jump shot and started to shoot the ball more and well this season. Also, I conditioned my body really well, so that I can be prepared. I don’t think I sat out of a game all year. Just putting in a lot of work during quarantine and the summertime back at home helped me be ready this season.”

Speaking with Colby Summers, assistant coach at Miller School:

“True floor general. Tremendous vision. Lives in the lane. Good shooter off the bounce or catch. Defensively, he’s a pest on the ball. He has good hands/instincts. Quick learner. Can show him any offense & immediately knows where everyone is supposed to be. Where the scoring opportunities are, etc.”
