The UNC Charlotte Team Camp featured plenty of talent from across the region, with several players elevating their stock through strong performances and impactful play. From explosive athletes to skilled shot-makers and versatile defenders, these prospects made their presence felt throughout the event.
2027 Geren Holmes (TBS)
Holmes continues to establish himself as one of the more explosive athletes in the area. He consistently creates scoring opportunities at a high level, whether attacking off the bounce or knocking down catch-and-shoot jumpers. His athleticism impacts both ends of the floor, allowing him to defend multiple positions and thrive in transition. When the game speeds up, Holmes becomes even more dangerous.
2030 Lloyd Concepcion (Harding)
Concepcion continues to impress with his maturity and feel for the game as a rising freshman. He finds ways to impact winning in every outing, using his handle to get downhill and finish through different angles and situations. He plays with confidence, shows advanced decision-making, and competes defensively with discipline. Combined with his perimeter size and basketball IQ, he looks like a young prospect worth monitoring closely.
2027 Jayon Connor (Forsyth Country Day)
Connor showcased why he is one of the more versatile prospects in attendance. He brought consistent energy, athleticism, and production while displaying an expanding offensive skill set. Defensively, he made plays as a help-side defender and rim protector, while his ability to impact multiple positions created matchup problems throughout the event. His versatility continues to be one of his biggest strengths.
2027 CJ Miranda (J.M. Robinson)
Miranda looks poised for a breakout senior season. The crafty guard plays with confidence and poise, rarely appearing rushed. He creates offense effectively, finishes around the basket, and consistently makes the right read for teammates. His shot-making ability and patience with the ball in his hands allowed him to control the pace and generate quality opportunities throughout the camp.
2027 QJ Young (Chambers)
Young showcased his ability to put pressure on defenses with his size and downhill attacking style. He was effective creating offense off the bounce, mixing in shot-making from the mid-range and perimeter while getting to his spots. Defensively, he showed continued growth by guarding multiple positions and providing leadership on the floor. His all-around development continues to trend upward.
2027 Ayo Awosanya (Charlotte Christian)
Awosanya proved once again that he doesn’t need plays called for him to make an impact. His motor, effort, and activity level consistently influenced the game on both ends. He anchored the defense, moved well on the perimeter, and excelled in transition opportunities. His combination of energy, versatility, and defensive presence makes him a difficult matchup and a valuable piece for any team.
