The Class of 2026 continues to showcase a deep pool of talent, and several players have already proven themselves as college-worthy prospects. These are athletes who consistently impact winning, bring translatable skills, and display the intangibles that coaches value at the next level. From their production on the floor to their work ethic and competitive drive, these players embody what programs look for when building future rosters. As recruitment heats up, college coaches would be wise to keep these names firmly on their radar.

2026 6’6 MJ Littlejohn (Westminster Catawba)
Littlejohn has had a strong summer, and I believe he showed more of his potential and overall development as a 6’6 prospect. He is a long prospect who is comfortable in a variety of areas, showing that he can step out and knock down shots, opening up the defense, but also use his length and athleticism in finishing inside and at the rim. Littlejohn plays with tremendous energy, running the floor, impacting the game in other areas, and just finding ways to produce for his team. He was a consistent presence throughout the summer, and we believe that he will only continue that trend this upcoming season.

2026 6’10 Mark Caslaru (Catawba Ridge)
One thing is for sure, there are plenty of programs looking for size and Caslaru certainly brings that. As a 6’10 big man, he continues to flourish as a big man who understands how to operate, be physical, and impact the game down in the paint. He does a great job in getting to his spots down on the block, scoring with touch around the basket but also giving us a glimpse of his ability to pop out and be an option offensively. Defensively, Caslaru alters shots well and covers the paint, making it hard for opponents to attack down low. Again, as a 6’10 prospect, there are plenty of programs that are looking for size like Caslaru, and he has shown he could be an option at the next level.

2026 6’5 Kellum Brown (New Hanover)
Brown is a player who opened a lot of eyes this summer, and I believe that he has a chance to carve out a name for himself in leading New Hanover. As a 6’5 prospect and looking to replace some key veterans from last year, Brown has elevated his game in a big way. He is an effective option from multiple levels, being a versatile prospect from multiple positions. Brown understands how to create and get downhill, can play off the ball to knock down shots, and create or be a playmaker for others. He has shown that he can really help take over a game, along with his versatility on the defensive side of the ball.

2026 6’6 Lajalin Overton (Mallard Creek)
Overton is a player who could be a sneaky prospect for a college program; every time I’ve watched him, I’ve enjoyed his game and impact on the court. Standing at 6’6, Overton is comfortable in a variety of areas and makes his impact felt in multiple areas. He can surprise you with how athletic he is, finishing with power at the rim, but also is fully comfortable in stepping out and knocking down shots. Overton runs the floor well and brings a solid two-way presence, using his body well defensively, altering shots and being active, and being a strong force offensively.
