2027 6’8 Jackson Terrell (West Ashley)
Terrell is a highly promising 6’8″ prospect who has been turning heads this summer. His size and mobility as a big make him a standout player. He brings a strong presence in the paint, where he showcases his overall strength. Terrell brings versatility to his position, being able to step out and shoot, run the floor effectively, and space the court. Additionally, Terrell is a dominant force on the glass, providing his team with crucial rebounds. With his skill set, he is expected to have a strong season ahead and see an increase in recruitment interest.
2026 6’10 Mark Caslaru (Catawba Ridge)
Caslaru is an interesting prospect with his size and ability, but one can also see that if he continues to catch up on his potential, there is a lot to like about his game. He continued to demonstrate his ability to be a good force down in the paint, operating well over his shoulder, displaying touch around the basket, creating extra opportunities on the glass, and just using his size to control the paint defensively. You add on his ability to step out at times, showing good versatility as a big, and Caslaru is a prospect to keep an eye on more this summer and into the season.
2026 6’10 Olisaemeka Itumo (WS Christian)
This was our first time getting a chance to watch the new big man in town for Winston-Salem Christian, and what has to excite you is that not only does he display a strong skill set already but you can see that he has a chance to add more to his game. Talking specifically about his game, he brings physicality and feel to the floor and shows that he can have an impact on either end of the court. But what I like even more are the little intangibles that I saw with him; he is a leader, a tremendous teammate, and one who is willing to compete and do what it takes to help his team. You add on all that with his game, Itumo should be a target all season long.
2026 6’7 Ny’zion Ballard (New Hanover)
Ballard is a player who stands out with his good length at 6’7″ and his tremendous energy and motor. Over the weekend, he showcased his ability to compete on both sides of the ball, staying active and engaged both defensively and offensively. Ballard excels at attacking the glass and moves well on both ends. He has a knack for finding ways to finish at the rim and brings significant activity in the paint. Additionally, Ballard is known for his defensive prowess, consistently battling and being disruptive to the opposing team.
2027 6’9 Charles Pur (TBS)
Pur is one of the premier bigs in the region, showcasing the ideal qualities for his position. His game is marked by his impressive size and tremendous feel for the game. Pur’s athleticism is evident in his ability to run the floor, making him a dynamic presence in transition. Offensively, he is a reliable threat due to his refined scoring touch. Additionally, he excels in attacking the glass, securing crucial rebounds for his team. With his well-rounded skill set, Pur is undoubtedly a player to watch, possessing the potential to excel in multiple areas on the floor.
