Greetings HS hoops junkies from across the awaiting-the-Super-Bowl piedmont. 'The Sadster is here once again to name his weekly Furious 5 for the week ending 1/26/19. 'There has been a shake-up resulting in a new top team and a couple of switches between the F5 and the Don’t Sleep On list. 'Recapping the week, West Charlotte fell at Hopewell in a mild upset, Myers Park dropped a 4 point game at home to the Big I…who in turn dropped a showcase game to a private school in Georgia. 'North Meck and Olympic survived the wild week unscathed and both have big games this week as North hosts West Charlotte in The Great One’s G.O.T.W. on Tuesday and the Trojans host Hopewell in a make-up game on Wednesday. 1. 'NORTH MECK'- THE VIKINGS SWEPT THROUGH MOTOWN LAST WEEK, HOST THE G.O.T.W. AS WEST CHARLOTTE PAYS A CALL ON TUESDAY.

2. 'OLYMPIC'– TROJANS HAVE 3 GAMES THIS WEEK, HEADLINED BY A VISIT FROM HOPEWELL ON WEDNESDAY.

3. 'INDEPENDENCE'– WON SLOW-DOWN GAME AT MYERS PARK BUT STUMBLED IN GEORGIA. 'VISITS PORTER RIDGE IN A MUST WIN FOR THE PIRATES ON FRIDAY.

4. 'VANCE'– THE COUGARS WON 2 ROAD GAMES INCLUDING A PAYBACK GAME AT THE CREEK, HAVE HUGE GAME AT HOPEWELL TUESDAY.

5. 'ARDREY KELL'- KNIGHTS HAD A BOUNCE BACK WEEK GOING 2-0, VISIT A HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT AT RIVAL SOUTH MECK ON FRIDAY.
