2024 6’2 Miles Beard (CC Elite 16u)

Beard came out in the first game of the day on fire. He was getting it done from all levels on the offensive end. He really excels in the catch-and-shoot scenarios but also knows how to find his shot coming off screens and using the dribble to get open. He showed potential to get to the basket and finish around defenders as the game went on.

2024 6’0 Chase Daniel (CC Elite 16u)

Daniel is a big part of this CC Elite group. He keeps everything running smoothly. On the offensive end, he can be seen knocking down three’s and getting to the rim and finishing in crafty ways. He has great vision too, especially when driving to the basket as he showed on multiple occasions that he knows how to find open shooters and hit the drop-off pass to big men on the opposite block. On the defensive end, he’s an active defender on and off the ball and is really aggressive with jumping passing lanes and gathering up steals.

2023 6’0 Roderick Milliken (Charlotte Royals 16u)

Milliken is a really effective scorer. He grabbed a lot of his points from beyond the arc. The impressive part of his shooting ability was how broad it was. He could knock down three’s off the catch, but could also use the dribble to create space and rock his defender to sleep. He was also very active in the passing lanes and was not afraid to get scrappy on the defensive end.

2022 6’7 Treyvon Byrd (NLPB 204 Williams)

This is a guy who knows how to use his length to his advantage. Byrd is a tall, lanky wing with a vast skill set. He uses his length to make the offensive uncomfortable and block shots. He gets in the paint when shots go up and battles for second-chance opportunities and defensive rebounds. He can finish around the rim very well. Byrd also isn’t afraid to bring the ball up the court and get his team into their offense.
