Hoop Wall Street vs. Triad Hornets

These championship games have been off the charts at the Summer Grind and it seemed to be the same between Hoop Wall Street and Triad Hornets. Triad though came out strong, looking to make a statement, and that they did, going up 34-20 at halftime. Cameron Flippen got it started while Sofiyah Ounarou chipped in as well for the Hornets, while Iverson King led the charge early for Wall Street.

Hoop Wall Street though started to chip away at the lead and eventually tied up the game late. King was off the charts in the second half, knocking down shots from all levels but AJ McClary and company came up big as well. Tied at 62, the Hornets had one last chance to take home the win, as they eventually hit the game-winner with a pull-up jumper plus the foul with around three seconds left, ultimately securing the win and the championship.
