The high school season has wrapped up for many players and that allows us at Phenom Hoops to take a look back at players that some would say have seen their stock rise after a strong season. So let’s dive into a few players that will be prospects to keep an eye on this upcoming summer and down the road.

2026 Dacen Petty was a player that some may have not known before the season but he proved his worth for Christ School, helping earn yet another state championship. Petty was a key piece throughout the season, impacting the game in so many ways, showing a strong understanding of how to operate within the offense, and coming up big in key situations. He was a key scoring factor on the court, not only opening up the offense with his three-point shooting at 45 percent on the season but also being a difference-maker in creating for himself and others. And that doesn’t mention his scrappy play on the defensive end, creating havoc and steals to lead to easy buckets on the offensive end.

Petty has now shown at multiple schools that he can impact winning. He was a true scoring factor at East Rutherford, averaging 26 points per game and proved that once again at Christ School in route to a championship. Petty has shown he does what is needed for his team and can fit in many roles for his team, as he should be in for another big summer.
