If you know who Grant is, it seems preposterous to even have to ask this question. However, if you go around basketball circles, even throughout South Carolina, somehow people do not know who Romello Grant is.

The short answer is that Romello Grant is a 6’3” junior who plays at R.B. Stall High School in North Charleston, South Carolina. However, looking a little deeper, Grant is a name that people throughout the region should know. He is currently the 5th leading scorer and the 4th leading rebounder in all of South Carolina high school basketball.

The tough and athletic junior is averaging a mind-numbing 25.1 points and 13 rebounds per game. Add in 1.6 steals and 1.5 assists per game and the accolades have come, he was the MVP of the State Farm Classic earlier this year.

This is a name college coaches need to know. Right now, he doesn’t have anyone recruiting him. Despite major numbers being put up in all settings, no colleges are calling Grant. That needs to change, college coaches need to see this one.

Make sure to come out this Saturday (January 20) at Porter Gaud. Romello Grant’s Stall High School will face off with Northwood Academy at 3:30 PM.
