Phenom Hoops recently went out on the road to the Team EAT Combine, where some of the top players around come and work out, helping themselves and others get better.  While we were there, we saw a familiar face working out in 2025 6’7 Christopher Eagan, a rising big that should be one to monitor.  Eagan is a familiar face that we have seen quite a few times throughout the summer, playing in multiple events with the Charlotte Dragons.

When watching Eagan operate on the court, you can see that this young big understands how to go to work down in the post, showing good footwork, crafty post moves, and understanding how to get around defenders and finish around them.  Eagan plays with great touch in getting the ball on the rim, as well as running the floor.  In our recent event at the Summer Grind, one of our scouts had this to say:

“With his ability to run the floor and his soft touch around the rim at such a young age, it really makes him one to watch in the future. He also showed me today that he has the ability to step out and hit the 15-footer, which is good because his solid mechanics show that one day, he will be able to step out and hit the three-ball consistently. With Eagan’s skillset and huge upside, I expect him to be playing at the collegiate level when he is older if he puts in the hours.”

Eagan has a lot of early qualities that you like to see in a rising big and it seems to be only a matter of time and continuing to put in the hard work, as he should be one college coaches start to monitor around the Charlotte area.

What Else Was Said:

“Eagan is a long and lanky big who simply works harder than everyone else. He battles under the rim and puts a body on people when a shot goes up. He’s a big-time rebounder with big-time scoring to go along with it. Eagan is a hustle player too. He gets a lot of points in transition by running the court and even if he doesn’t get the ball, his teammates reap the reward of his hustle in transition.
