The stars were out in full force this past weekend at Phenom March Madness, as some of the region’s premier and high-level prospects took center stage and delivered in a big way. From dynamic scoring performances to all-around impact players, talent was on full display across the board, giving a glimpse of names that will continue to rise and be heard about at the next level. With energy, competition, and standout moments throughout, this weekend once again showcased why Phenom Hoops remains a platform where top talent shines.
2026 Ant Brown (Drifty) – Committed to Vanderbilt
Brown simply put on a show and proved why he is a national name. He showed how electric he can be with the ball in his hands, creating and keeping defenders guessing, breaking down defenders 1on1, and being such a strong scoring weapon on the court. He had everyone’s attention at the event in a big way.
2028 Mason Collins (CP3)
Collins, ranked as a premier talent in the country, was back in North Carolina and showcased his growth, development, and overall impact as a player. He brings tremendous size, a strong skillset in being able to play along the perimeter as well as get to the rim, and versatility positionally both offensively and defensively.
2029 Grant Duggins (CP3)
I was highly impressed with Duggins and his growth over the last few months, and I expect him to have a big summer. The 6’8 forward is fluid and continues to add other dimensions into his game, being able to rebound and handle the ball, step outside and knock down shots, and still be a presence inside on the block.
2027 RJ Moore (Drifty)
I always enjoy watching Moore in action and believe his game would translate well at the next level. He is excellent in his ability to get to his spots and rise up to knock down shots, easily being a three-level scorer on the court with a smooth and confident release. But he uses his size really well in attacking off the bounce to get to the rim.
2027 Markus Kerr (Drifty)
It was exciting to see Kerr back in North Carolina, and he certainly looks like he has been putting in the work with his game and frame. Looking bigger and stronger, Kerr continues to thrive in his ability to bring such versatility on the court, operating from all over, finding ways to impact the game, and being a strong scoring option. He is ready for the next level and should be a high priority for college programs.
2026 Ayden Johnson (Drifty) – Committed to Merrimack
Johnson was putting on a show throughout the event, as the point guard displayed why he can be such a weapon from the perimeter. Time after time, he was able to knock down deep threes, lighting it up while also displaying speed, shiftiness, and creativity as a primary ball-handler.
2028 Kaharri Coleman (Drifty/CP3)
Coming off a title, Coleman continues to thrive as a high-energy prospect who thrives out in the open floor. He continues to attack downhill and out in transition, looking to punish the rim, attack the defense constantly, and bring a tremendous blend of scoring and playmaking to the court for his team.
2029 Nick Cannon (CP3)
Cannon, a young prospect for CP3 15u, is going to be a name you hear more of, I believe, this summer and down the road. He continues to grow and develop his overall game, as he is a smooth, versatile scorer from multiple levels. Cannon’s ability to be an impact player in several areas should continue to bring D1 schools his way.
2026 Trevor Manhertz (Drifty) – Committed to Indiana
The Indiana commit was back on the court with Phenom Hoops and many can’t wait to see what he is able to do in the coming years. Standing at 6’8 and extremely long, his calling card early on will be a shot-maker with deep range and confidence, but as he adjusts to the college level and adds more overall, Manhertz has a chance to be a special player when everything comes together.
2026 Cody Peck (Drifty)
Peck, who is one of the top unsigned seniors left on the board, showed why schools are still making him a target as the 6’10 prospect ran the floor, finished time after time at the rim with power, and has an intriguing overall skillset at his size. He was at his best when running the floor and attacking downhill, bringing several highlight-worthy dunks for fans.
2028 Jermier Nelson (CP3)
Nelson is a guard who is finally getting the attention that we believe he deserves. He is a strong playmaking point guard who plays with poise, creates well for himself, and is a strong weapon as a playmaker. He consistently is able to find ways to score, but does a great job in also understanding how to run the show.
2028 Mekhi Allen (CP3)
Allen, a 6’6 prospect that continues to bring such intrigue, was able to flourish with his game at this event. He does a great job in getting to his spots, playing off the ball and being a threat in catch-and-shoot situations, displaying comfort in opening up the offense from the perimeter but also bringing athleticism in finishing at the rim. Allen continues to find ways to show that he can fill it up in a hurry.
2027 Thomas Vickery (Drifty)
Vickery was another prospect who pulled up to the event, and we were excited to see him on the court. When you talk about his game, Vickery brings excitement as a high-flying athlete who can get to the rim but can also thrive as a natural scorer from multiple levels. He brings positional size that you have to like, excels in attacking off the bounce and being physical with defenders, and can score off the bounce or off the catch, as he will be a target for many schools this summer.
