Stars Gold has been a staple in South Carolina as of late, as this is a team and program that continues to bring intriguing talent to the court. We have had a chance to watch some of the talent in the last two events, as we dive into a few players that have earned our attention so far to start the summer. College coaches should be looking their way this year.
2026 Justus Bell
Bell is a prospect that I believe college coaches should really look at with his 6’6 frame. As a wing, he does a great job in not only being a threat from the perimeter (something he has shown for some time now), but he has added more to his overall scoring presence and is bigger/stronger. He fits the mold of what college programs are looking for.
2026 D’Marcus Thomas
Thomas plays with a toughness at the point guard position. He plays hard, competes on both ends, does a great job in getting paint touches and creating, and makes his impact felt on both sides of the court. Thomas makes good reads, uses his speed well, and knows how to run the show.
2026 Jordan Jenkins
Jenkins has a good frame and is able to show flashes of his ability to attack downhill, get to the rim, and use his athleticism well. He plays hard and has a high motor, showing that on both the offensive and defensive ends. Does a nice job finishing through contact as well.
2026 Charles White
White is an athletic guard who finishes well around the rim, is capable of spacing the floor and scoring from multiple levels and also rebounds well at his position. Can knock down open shots for this team.
2026 William Robinson
Robinson is the force down low for this team, sporting a strong and physical frame, not shying away from battling down in the paint and on the glass, and being able to step out at times also.
