The South Carolina Top 80 is widely regarded as the top exposure camp in the state of South Carolina. The 4th Annual event has built a major reputation of bringing in the top talent from around the state to compete under one roof.

This year, the star-studded event will be as good as ever. A lot of that has to do with having the best talent the state has seen in the past thirty to forty years. Every class has ranked players in it, with high major programs chasing the top talent.

The 2018 version of the prestigious event will have some of the best talent. You start with Top 3 2019 prospect CJ Felder. Felder who has had the likes of Virginia Tech and Boston College in to see him this past week, is a wrecking ball on the court. High flying, long and explosive, he was the winner of the coveted Mr Top 80 award at last year's camp.

The 2019 class will also have Top 15 prospects Deuce Dean and Marlow Gilmore. Dean is a big bodied point guard who carries over 10 Division 1 offers and Gilmore may be the most explosive player in the state (also the reigning winner of the camp's Mr Defense award).

In all there will be thirty-three 2019 prospects participating. Which is huge for the amount of coaches coming to watch. Last season we had over forty-five college coaches in attendance. This year, with the amount of talent in the gym, there should be at least that many this year. Further providing this as the top exposure camp in the state.

This camp will also be live streamed across the country by Baller TV. Already we have the rosters and schedule emailed out to Division 1 coaches across the country. This will be big because the majority of players at this prestigious, invite-only, camp will end up Division 1 prospects.

You have nationally ranked, Top 150 guys like 6'10' 2020 PJ Hall or Dorman High School (#90 per Rivals.com) and 7' 2021 John Butler of Christ Church (#16 per ESPN). There are numerous other players who will be attending, who will find their way into the national Top 150 rankings by the time their high school careers are over, 6'6' 2022 Julian Phillips, 6'9' 2021 Cesare Edwards, 6'4' 2021 Joshua Beadle and 6'6' 2020 Dillon Jones to name a few.

These players buying in to the platform is exponential for the process. Not only with the national media be all over them, get to see them amongst the best and earn their rankings, but it also allows for those media people to see the guys who don't yet have the same notoriety. The coaches will be watching both via the live stream, and in person.

Without a doubt this event brings out the best. The exposure in unparalleled and the talent level is off the charts.

This year, Phenom Hoops will be partnering with the Americares Foundation and giving proceeds from the camp to help in the relief of the devastation Hurricane Florence brought to many across the state.

This event will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. September 23 at Lexington High School.
