Coach: Jordan Paris

#7: 5’10 ’26 Braydyn Francis (Chapin)

Starting off, Braydyn Francis is a 5-foot-10 prospect in the Class of 2026. He provided a very steady, reliable presence from the point guard position. Francis is a quick, heady floor general with a quality handle and playmaking sense. He’s a capable scorer from all levels, but is at his best when breaking down opponents and setting up others. Francis is a scrappy defender who regularly outworks opponents with his high motor. Next in his development process is working on getting stronger, as it would make him a better finisher through contact. Coach Paris on Francis: “Braydyn is a very quick guard. Great passer. Sees the floor really well. Can knock down the open three-pointer but doesn’t look to force it. Good teammate. Unselfish. Plays with a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. Great attitude.” Francis did a lot of things well during camp and should be poised for a productive senior season at Chapin.

#10: 5’11 ’26 Cameron Gary (Lugoff Elgin)

Next, Cameron Gary is a 5-foot-11 prospect in the Class of 2026. Given his ability to make his presence felt within the flow of the action, he found several ways to impact the game. Gary is a scrappy, well-rounded guard who can find success with or without the ball in his hands. He’s a useful penetrator who touches the paint and sees the floor fairly well. Gary can knock down open jumpers but is arguably at his best when getting downhill. He’s a pesky defender with the quickness to consistently keep opponents in front. Next in his development process is working on his ability to move without the ball, as it would make him a more complete player. Coach Paris on Gary: “Cameron is a quick guard who penetrates gaps well to make plays off the dribble. Has the ability to draw double teams. Plays well off two feet.” Gary enjoyed a quality showing at camp and should be a key piece for Lugoff Elgin this season.

#23: 6’0 ’27 Daniel Godsun (John Paul II)

Next, Daniel Godsun is a 6-foot-0 prospect in the Class of 2027. Although he did a little bit of everything, he arguably stood out as the most reliable spot-up threat on this team. Godsun is a smart, unselfish guard with a high motor and the ability to thrive without the ball in his hands. He’s a capable creator and willing passer who knows how to move effectively to find open opportunities and capitalize from the perimeter. Godsun attacks closeouts well to finish or pull up from midrange as needed. He also provides an active defensive presence. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him a better creator against pressure. Coach Paris on Godsun: “Daniel is a solid player who can knock down open jumpers from distance. Runs the floor great. Good hands. Finishes well in transition.” Godsun found success throughout camp and should be a difference-maker at John Paul II going forward.

#26: 6’0 ’27 Justin Vining (Fox Creek)

Next, Justin Vining is a 6-foot-0 prospect in the Class of 2027. Clearly one of the more dynamic campers on display, he showcased a lot of ability. Vining is a smart, polished guard who can dominate opponents in a variety of ways. He’s a quick, crafty creator who breaks down defenders and touches the paint whenever he desires. Vining is a great finisher and willing passer who makes terrific decisions with the ball in his hands. However, he’s also a reliable perimeter shooter who hits jumpers at an efficient rate. Vining defends with energy and toughness, and forces turnovers at a quality rate. Next in his development process is working on getting stronger, as it would make him a more imposing player. Coach Paris on Vining: “Justin is a very quick guard. Pushes the ball in transition. Can get to the rim with ease. Good shooter. Guards his position well defensively. Smart with the ball.” Vining proved to be an asset during camp, securing a Top Performer award, and should be a focal point at Fox Creek going forward.

#39: 6’2 ’27 Adam Vandergrift (Chapin)

Next, Adam Vandergrift is a 6-foot-2 prospect in the Class of 2027. He did a terrific job of producing within the team structure. Vandergrift is a smart, unselfish guard with a high motor and scrappy nature. He knows how to fill in the gaps offensively. Vandergrift is a capable shooter and willing passer who maximizes his opportunities when available. He contains his assignment well defensively and is willing to sacrifice his body to make hustle plays. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him a better creator against pressure. Coach Paris on Vandergrift: “Adam is a good on-ball defender who anticipates well to force turnovers. Capable catch-and-shoot guy who plays well off of screens and operates within the flow of the action. Coachable player. Great attitude.” Vandergrift enjoyed a solid showing at camp and should be a key piece for Chapin this season.

#42: 6’3 ’26 Daytron Cockfield (Westwood)

Next, Daytron Cockfield is a 6-foot-3 prospect in the Class of 2026. In a setting where so many players need the ball to be successful, he stood out without requiring a ton of touches. Cockfield is a low-maintenance piece with the IQ, motor, and skillset to naturally fill in the gaps on both ends of the floor. He’s a terrific off-ball cutter who applies quality scoring pressure inside the arc. Cockfield is a reliable midrange shooter and useful penetrating threat. He’s a scrappy defender with the energy and positioning to contain his assignment. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him a better creator against pressure. Coach Paris on Cockfield: “Daytron is a very strong player who finishes well around the basket. Runs the floor in transition. Sets great screens. Very high-energy player with the ability to outwork others.” Cockfield did a lot of things well during camp and should be a vital piece for Westwood this season.

#54: 6’3 ’28 JJ Gray (Myrtle Beach)

Next, JJ Gray is a 6-foot-3 prospect in the Class of 2028. Between his intangibles, skillset, and physical tools, there’s certainly a lot to like about his identity. Gray is a very smart, smooth wing with the ability to fill it up in a variety of ways. He’s comfortable applying pressure as a creator or off-ball threat. Gray displays a nice handle with sharp vision and the ability to reliably attack off the dribble. He’s a terrific shooting threat who moves well without the ball and consistently knocks down jumpers along the perimeter. Gray is a great rebounder for his size/position and consistently contains his assignment defensively. Next in his development process is working to get stronger, as it would make him a more imposing player. Coach Paris on Gray: “JJ is an athletic wing who can get to the paint and finish. Displays touch around the basket. Sees the floor well. Very coachable.” Gray proved to be an asset during camp and should be a focal point for Myrtle Beach over the coming years.

#57: 6’4 ’26 AJ Washington (Fort Mill)

Next, AJ Washington is a 6-foot-4 prospect in the Class of 2026. Given his ability to produce in every possible setting, it’s easy to appreciate the glue-guy identity that he brings to a team. Washington is a smart, well-rounded wing who can impact all facets of the game. He’s a malleable offensive option with the ability to initiate the offense, set up others, and apply scoring pressure from all levels. Washington is a nice cutter and spot-up threat who can find opportunities with or without the ball in his hands. He contains his assignment well defensively and secures rebounds at a strong rate for his size/position. Next in his development process is working to get quicker, as it would make him a more dynamic threat off the bounce. Coach Paris on Washington: “AJ is a really good on-ball defender. Finishes at the rim through contact. Strong defender and intense player. Very coachable.” Washington enjoyed a quality showing at camp and should be a focal point for Fort Mill this season.

#71: 6’6 ’28 Antoine Caughman Jr. (Keenan)

Next, Antoine Caughman is a 6-foot-6 prospect in the Class of 2028. Arguably trending upward as much as anyone in the state, his appeal is obvious. Caughman is an incredibly smooth, polished shot-maker with the IQ, skillset, and athleticism to dominate opponents in various ways. He heats up quickly and is able to effortlessly fill it up as a scorer from all levels, both as a creator and off-ball threat. Caughman finishes with craftiness and through contact, but also sees the floor well to make the extra pass when available. He’s a strong defender with the length, motor, and anticipation to force turnovers at a quality rate. Caughman also rebounds and pushes the break well in transition. Next in his development process is working to tighten his handle, as it will make him even more difficult for opponents to contain. Coach Paris on Caughman: “Antoine is a strong, athletic wing. Runs the floor. Good creator on the perimeter. Finishes strong at the rim and knocks down jumpers.” Caughman was undeniably impressive during camp, securing a Top Performer award, and should be a focal point for Keenan over the coming years.

#74: 6’7 ’27 Isaiah Atkins (Landrum)

Finishing up, Isaiah Atkins is a 6-foot-7 prospect in the Class of 2027. Given his status as the only true big man on this team, he stood out as a valuable piece on both ends of the floor. Atkins provides a strong interior presence with the length, motor, and toughness to consistently make his presence felt. He’s a great finisher and midrange shooter who knows how to take what the defense is giving him. Atkins is a very useful scorer out of the post. He provides a steady presence as a defender and rebounder. Next in his development process is working on getting quicker, as it would make him a better defender when switching onto smaller guards. Coach Paris on Atkins: “Isaiah is a solid big man with good hands. Plays with a lot of effort on both ends of the floor. Runs the floor well in transition. Has the ability to knock down open jumpers. Sets good screens.” Atkins enjoyed a nice showing at camp and should be a key piece for Landrum this season.
