5'11' 2019 Trey Smith
Mooresville Magic Gauntlet
Smith is a bucket getter, that is first and foremost. He scored 729 points this season (28 per game) while shooting 53% from the field and 48% from 3. However, his game is more than just scoring, he has a huge IQ and a great basketball sense. He is a good, and willing, passer. His footwork is great and his release is soft and quick. Watch for him to put up some BIG numbers.

6' 2019 Crosby James
Upward Stars – Columbia
There is something about James' mentality that is just infectious. The way he attacks every single rep, be it in practice, a warm up or a game is gritty and tough. He is in your face for 94 feet talking and clapping and causing every insecurity you have to be exposed. He has a tight handle, he scores the ball and he distributes. James is as tough as they come and he is a winner. The starting point guard for South Carolina's 4A state champion team, watch for James' recruitment to steady out at a D1 level and that should start here. You win league championships with this kid.

6'6' 2019 Cameron Phronebarger
Upward Stars ' Charlotte
Phronebarger has all the tools, the length, the explosion, the motor. We are not even sure that he knows yet how good he is. Phronebarger has a 6'10' wing span and lift that gets his elbows above the rim. He crashes the boards with a purpose and he defends multiple positions. Watch in this event for multiple game changing plays. Watch in April for the D1 schools to put his name on their recruiting board after they figure out who that kid is dunking everything on Court 2.

6'5' Unsigned Senior Corey Rutherford
High Point Havoc
Rutherford already experience a low-key breakout at Phenom's Opening where his performance got him his first offer from Winston Salem State. Watch for that breakout to span a bit further as April goes on. Rutherford has great size/length, good athleticism but his calling card is that he carries an absolute flame thrower. With his size and his ability to shoot, watch for schools to fall in love with him in April. This weekend, watch for some major scoring outputs.

6'2' 2019 Jackson Gabriel
Team Denver Gauntlet
Gabriel is a storied shooter of the basketball. This past season he shot 48% from three on 100 makes. Over his past 3 years in high school Gabriel has made 319 3-pointers on 47.6% shooting. In those 3 years he has scored 1,284 points and is 85-13 overall with a state championship. Yes, these numbers are staggering, Gabriel is already 3rd all-time in NCSHAA history, and we see he still has one year remaining. Coaches'

6'2' 2019 George Jones
Boo Williams Carolina
Coaches are always talking about wanting to get tougher, more athletic. Well, George Jones is exactly this. The epitome of tough, he exudes winning behaviors on both ends of the floor. Jones is a length, explosive and strong bodied combo guard. He defends multiple positions, across the floor and he puts constant pressure on the opposing teams with his aggressive play on both ends of the floor. He will be one coaches need to make a point to watch in April as Jones led his Pamlico County team to play in the 1A state championship game this year, for the 1st time in school history.
