Throughout the weekend, the program consistently impressed scouts with its versatility and unselfish style of play, featuring multiple prospects who elevated their stock against quality competition. Whether it was dynamic wings creating mismatches, elite perimeter shooting, or players making winning plays within the flow of the offense, AJam Hoops proved to be a program loaded with talent that college coaches should continue to monitor heading into the upcoming high school season.
2028 6’7 Giovonni Tyler
Tyler was one who quickly grabbed our attention and he has the tools that college coaches should like at the next level. Though there are areas to tighten up and improve in, the 6’7 wing prospect played with a tremendous overall feel that created mismatches all over the court. He is skilled and versatile on the floor, being able to effectively play on or off the ball, get to his spots from behind the arc or mid-range, or use his length to get to the rim and score. He brings a lot to the table overall for his team, as he was a hot topic from our scouts and college coaches.
2028 6’1 Bleu Armour
Armour made his presence felt throughout, proving to be an effective weapon as a shooter for his team. A true knockdown perimeter threat, Armour moves well without the ball to create quality looks, attacks hard off closeouts, and consistently makes the right read. His unselfish approach and willingness to keep the ball moving make him an ideal fit within the flow of an offense, allowing him to impact winning without forcing the action.
2028 6’4 Bryson Morrissette
If you were making a list of the top shooters at the event, Morrissette would be one of the clear names you would see near the top. As a 6’4 prospect, he has the size and feel that you like in a prospect, along with demonstrating a strong understanding and IQ on the court. But he was at his best when he was able to get to his spots, space the floor, and showcase his ability to be a knockdown shooter with range on the court. There were plenty of games that he finished with five or more threes in a game, as he opened up the offense so much more for his teammates.
