The Phenom Summer Havoc LIVE provided another tremendous opportunity for prospects to showcase their abilities in front of college coaches, and several frontcourt players made strong impressions throughout the event. Whether it was their size, physicality, athleticism, rebounding presence, defensive versatility, or long-term upside, these bigs consistently found ways to impact the game. Some are already established names, while others remain under-the-radar prospects who deserve more attention. As college programs continue building their recruiting boards, these are several frontcourt prospects from Summer Havoc LIVE that coaches should have on their radar.
2027 Brayden Hudson (Upward Stars Upstate)
Hudson is a valuable big for college coaches to pay attention. Hudson has the size and frame that you like, brings strong production overall, finishes with touch and feel in the paint, carves out space well, and uses his body well on the glass to battle through defenders. He has a strong overall skillset that is valuable at the next level, and college coaches should pay attention more.
2027 Jalen Crayton (Team Stacked)
Crayton is who he is… he brings consistent play, physicality, and production for his team. Though he doesn’t need to be the focal point of the offense, Crayton finds ways to impact the game in a variety of ways, displaying strong athleticism, finishing ability at the rim, and a relentless energy on the glass on both sides of the court.
2028 Frank Jamieson (SEBA)
Jamieson was a player we weren’t familiar with, and there is room for growth. But you can’t deny the overall physicality that he brings to the court immediately, as it stood out time after time. He still has room to develop his offensive game but his ability to physically impose his will in the paint, create second-chance opportunities, and battle through contact was impressive throughout the event.
2027 Donovan Stinney (River City Reign)
Stinney was one that we highlighted after watching him down in Raleigh, and he continued to showcase those flashes that grab your attention and make you think about what he could be down the road. Long, bouncy, impactful on both sides of the floor, the 6’8 Stinney continues to shine with his mobility and athleticism at the rim along with being a rim-protector.
2028 Lamont Williams (Upward Stars Pee Dee)
I’ve been high on Williams for some time now and continue to say he is a sneaky prospect down in South Carolina to watch for. He understands who he is and embraces it, bringing relentless energy on the glass, racking up double-digit rebounds with ease, and being explosive at the rim, overpowering opponents and serving as a strong two-way presence for his team.
2027 Marlon Lewis (Next Level Elite)
Lewis, a 6’7 prospect, is one that has a lot of upside with his game and could be a sneaky prospect for college coaches to keep an eye on. As our own Jeff Bendel said, “He displays solid two-way feel and is capable of impacting the game with or without the ball in his hands. Lewis plays with energy and utilizes his length very well to be a disruptive defensive piece. He’s also a solid rebounder for his position. Though already impactful, Lewis has the tools to reach new heights at the next level…”
2027 George Johns (Bricksquad Monopoly)
Johns is a versatile two-way prospect who consistently impacts the game with his size, athleticism, and motor. He rebounds at a strong level, offers switchability defensively, and brings useful offensive versatility with his touch, ball skills, and ability to operate along the perimeter.
