PSB Elite once again brought plenty of talent to the courts at Phenom Rock Hill LIVE, as several prospects stepped up and made strong impressions throughout the weekend. Across multiple teams and age groups, the program showcased length, athleticism, toughness, and skill, with players consistently producing in front of college coaches and scouts in attendance. Whether it was guards making plays defensively and offensively or forwards impacting the game with their versatility and physical tools, PSB Elite had several names that continued to elevate their stock in Rock Hill. Here is what our scouts had to say from the event.
2027 6’4 Samuel Flippin
Flippin was able to really shine throughout the weekend and caught the eyes of several scouts on deck. A prospect that has good size, he was able to consistently make plays off the bounce, attack well, get to his spots, and knock down open shots from multiple levels. He was highly effective on the court as he was able to hurt you in a variety of ways and showed a good overall feel.
2027 6’7 Shawn Mays
Mays is a 6’7 forward who doesn’t need to be the focal point to make his presence known. A strong glue big man that just does what is needed for his team, whether it is being active on the glass, running the floor, being a presence in the paint overall, and also helping protect the basket as well on defense. Mays does the little things that help a team win.
2027 6’3 Cash Hall
I absolutely loved what I saw from Hall on the court this weekend, as he was a clear standout in leading his team. Hall was an effective playmaker with the ball in his hands, creating and picking his spots, showing shiftiness and strong instincts to get to his spots to score, but was also a willing playmaker for others. Hall displayed a strong IQ in running the show throughout the weekend.
2027 6’2 Connor Hodgson
Hodgson has consistently stepped up as a scoring option, bringing an aggressive mindset offensively and setting the tone for his team. Hodgson does a great job attacking off the dribble, putting pressure on defenders, and creating scoring opportunities with his ability to get downhill and make plays.
2027 6’8 Heath Johnson
Johnson showed intriguing upside with his length, athleticism, and two-way impact on the court. Johnson plays well above the rim, finishes effectively around the basket, and uses his size to create advantages offensively by shooting over defenders. Defensively, his reach and activity allow him to contest shots, protect the paint, and make a strong impact on that end of the floor.
2027 6’0 Treyvon Robinson
Robinson showcased his value as an active and instinctive guard on the defensive end. Robinson does an excellent job getting into passing lanes, creating easy steals with his anticipation and quick hands, and quickly turning defense into offense with transition finishes at the rim. His energy and ability to create extra possessions make him an impactful presence in the backcourt.
