6'1 '21 JaQuantae Harris (Taking It By Force)
There were few surprises from day one, except the fact that Taking It By Force didn't win every
single contest. That being said, JaQuantae Harris still left it all on the floor and doing everything
on both sides of the ball. He's a heady two-way guard that can outrebound big men game after
game, which is impressive, because he truly is only 6-foot-1. Harris pursues the ball
exceptionally well and simply has a knack for scoring on all three levels, though he's the most
efficient around the basket. No one demanded more attention on offense than Harris, and yet he
still led everyone in scoring.

6'0 '21 Jack Carter (Team Loaded Stephens)
Team Loaded Stephens was one of the best teams on Saturday at Phenom David Rose, mainly
due to their beautiful ball movement. Jack Carter was their most consistent contributor on the
offensive end, knocking down one three-pointer after another while constantly getting others
involved. He is a crafty playmaker in the half-court and penetrates well to the rim, but it was his
intelligence and decision-making that set him apart from others. We'll be looking for Carter to
continue his strong weekend and possibly secure a title in the process.

6'8 '20 Sam Hood (Durham Hurricanes)
The most impressive big man prospect on display at Smith HS (court two) was easily Sam Hood
of Durham Hurricanes. At 6-foot-8, Hood has a modernized skillset, able to rebound, block
shots, and score efficiently on all three levels. Offensively, he looks to face-up and knock down
jumpers or utilize his length inside the paint. Right now, he's not necessarily an elite shooter, but
if he hits one, expect Hood to hit multiple. His defensive impact is massive for this Durham
Hurricanes squad, as he gives them a whole new wrinkle. Few opponents were able to stop Hood
from doing whatever he desired on either end of the floor.

6'1 '21 Cole Sinclair (Durham Hurricanes)
No program was more impressive than the Durham Hurricanes, especially behind the massive
showings from Cole Sinclair. The floor general is extremely poised on both sides of the floor; he
knows how to set up teammates in their ideal spot. He's also on another level in terms of overall
feel and intelligence, and it's clear in his play. Sinclair is a very strong three-level scorer, but
he's especially accurate from three-point range. One of the best qualities about Sinclair is his
ability to play alongside another point guard or off-guard, whenever necessary.

6'4 '22 William Woodard (Academy Prep)
The highest upside prospect from day one was William Woodard, a 6-foot-4 big man with the
ability to affect both sides of the ball. Offensively, he has three-level scoring ability, but is at his
best inside the arc, where he's able to utilize his strength and wingspan. Woodard is already a
problem for opponents defensively, since he effortlessly rebounds and block shots. He has
tremendous upside, especially given his age and advanced frame. Only time will tell if Woodard
is going to reach his upside, but if he does, watch out.
