Greetings HS hoops junkies from across the iced-up Piedmont! The Sadster is here to release his latest rankings amidst this wintry weather. Last week brought us some thrilling games, especially in the Meck Power 6 conference as then #5 North Meck held on for two 3-point wins at home and top-ranked West Charlotte escaped at Chambers in OT. We also had an F5 squad fall to a LIW team as surging East Meck escaped from The Kastle with a W, altering Ardrey Kell’s position. Keep in mind as we mention the days for this week’s games, they may be altered because of the icy roads. Without further adieu we will now see the results of last week’s action……TO THE 5!!!
1. WEST CHARLOTTE 14-2 – THE LIONS SURVIVED AN OT SCARE AT CHAMBERS, HOST OLD FRIEND NORTH MECK FOR A TEA PARTY ON TUESDAY.
2. MOORESVILLE 15-2 – THE BLUE DEVILS COASTED TO A 2-0 WEEK, THE CROSSTOWN RIVAL LAKERS COME CALLING ON TUESDAY.
3. MARVIN RIDGE 15-3 – THE MAVERICKS WENT 2-0 DURING THEIR HOMESTAND LAST WEEK, KEY ROAD GAME AT WEDDINGTON ON FRIDAY.
4. NORTH MECK 14-3 – THE VIKINGS HELD SERVE AT HOME AGAINST INDY AND CHAMBERS, TRAVEL TO OLD RIVAL WEST CHARLOTTE TUESDAY.
5. CATHOLIC 16-3 – THE COUGARS CRUISED TO A 2-0 WEEK, REMATCH AT MARVIN RIDGE IS NOW ON THE HORIZON.
