SAD SAM’S WEEKLY FURIOUS 5 RANKINGS
Greetings HS hoops junkies from across the windy and cold Piedmont! The Great One is here to release his weekly Furious 5 rankings garnished with his DSO (Don’t Sleep On) and Looking in the Window lists. Last week saw no changes in the 5 but saw some movement in the DSO and Looking in the Window lists. Top ranked North Meck, Independence, West Charlotte and Butler kept the beat going for the Power 6 conference as they continue to dominate the rankings. Mooresville is carrying the torch for Iredell County as the Blue Devils continue to post W’s. Without further delay we will now go……TO THE 5!!!!!
1. NORTH MECK – THE VIKINGS WENT 2-0 CAPPED BY AN 81-60 WIN OVER BYRNES (SC).
2. INDEPENDENCE – HAD A 2-0 WEEK INCLUDING A 58-54 DECISION OVER EASTERN POWER NEW HANOVER.
3. WEST CHARLOTTE – DOWNED PANTHER CREEK 67-65 IN THEIR ONLY TILT OF THE WEEK.
4. BUTLER – ENJOYED A 3-0 WEEK AT THE EXPENSE OF CENTRAL CABARRUS, NW CABARRUS AND EAST MECK.
5. MOORESVILLE – WENT 2-0 WITH WINS OVER COX MILL AND ROCKY RIVER.
