The Phenom Middle School Elite Camp was an incredible overall event and a chance for us at Phenom Hoops to get a glimpse of the future here around the region. We want to continue to excitement and coverage, as we will highlight several players and all evaluations posted here on the Phenom Hoops website.
A player that I’m eager to watch down the road and showed a lot of promise/potential was 2029 5’10 Brayden McCrimmon. A young prospect in the Charlotte area, McCrimmon gave you those flashes of what he could ultimately be with his length, skillset, and impact. He had a good early length that makes you believe he will only continue to grow but he also showed an understanding of how to make plays. He created well off the dribble, finished off the bounce and over defenders, rebounded well, and brought good versatility to the court. McCrimmon shows that he impacts the game on both sides of the court and is engaged no matter where he is. Again, there is a lot of promise with his game and he should be a name to watch more.
