2022 6’6 Gradey Dick has been a hot target over the last year by several programs and since the first day that coaches could contact 2022 prospects, he has added a few more offers.

Texas A&M, Colorado, and Northwestern have all recently offered the 6’6 prospect and he hopes to develop an even better relationship with each.

“So, I’ve received offers from Texas A&M, Northwestern, and Colorado,” he said.  “Coach Wolf with Texas A&M facetimed me early in the morning on the 15th and we really got along; funny guy.  My Northwestern one came from a call from Coach Collins actually on my way to a workout with his future guard Ty Berry.  We had a great connection there.  I also had a nice connection with Colorado. I have a good relationship with assistant Mike Rohn there.”

Those three programs, much like the others, really like his versatility and ability to guard multiple positions on the floor.  Gradey likes all the coaches from those three schools and their genuine interest in him; it is something that means a lot to him.

They now join the list of schools that have offered, which also include Texas Tech, Purdue, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wichita State.

So far, Gradey has already taken unofficial visits to Kansas, Baylor, Wichita state, Nebraska, Kansas State, Oklahoma, SMU, and Iowa State.

Interests picking up, including from a few blue-bloods

With an already impressive list of offers, Gradey’s recruitment could continue to rise as several schools have their eyes on the 6’6 prospect.

North Carolina, Duke, Alabama, BYU, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Marquette, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Texas, Virginia, Villanova, Wisconsin, and Xavier have all expressed interest his way.

It is still early though for him, so he admits that he is just trying to take it all in and enjoy the process. As far as what he is looking or listening for when speaking to programs…

“Obviously a great coach, a team that has a good chance at going far, a great environment during the games, and a historic background.”
