Championship Sunday lived up to the billing and more when PSB Elite and Team Loaded 704 squared off at Smith in front of some passionate fans, in the end PSB claimed the silver bracket 66-57.

 

Greensboro, North Carolina- PSB Elite 14U were the last ones standing after a dog fight with Team Loaded 704 in the Silver bracket championship game. This contest was extremely physical from the tip, both teams played with urgency, battling for every 50/50 ball and trading buckets. Big time players made plays and overall it was an impressive team performance for PSB.

5'9 2023 Jason Hancock (PSB) Hancock is a poised young guard with an advanced feel for the game, when this group needed to settle the chaos the ball was in Hancock's possession.Jason Hancock

Hancock or orchestrated this offense and got his guys in position, it was a slow first half scoring the ball but Hancock came out aggressive in the second half. Hancock scored eight of his total 11 points in the second half, his dog mentality on defense also rubbed off on this group.

 

 

 

 

 

2023 Gio Nannucci (PSB)- Was the number one scoring option for this group majority of the weekend. Nannucci created of the dribble, he hit shots from the mid range, and proved to be a capable slasher.

Nannucci is crafty off the dribble, around the basket he has the floater in his bag. Nannucci attacks the cup strong, he's a player that understands how to use his size to draw fouls and earn trips to the line. Nannucci made the most of his time at the charity stripe. Nannucci showed confidence from deep as well, if left open he will light defenses up!

 

2023 DJ Workman (PSB)- Arguably the best player on the floor in the first half of their championship game, Workman provided serious spark from three point land.

Workman connected on three field goals from behind the arc, Workman's jumper looked fluid and he gets nice rotation on the basketball. Workman utilized the entire floor to carve out space for clean looks. Workman's steady shooting early allowed this offense to establish a rhythm in the first half.
