On court 2 this morning and early afternoon was dominated by ATL Timberwolves 6’3″ unsigned graduating senior #23 John Morgan guard / forward who has exceptional hops! The southpaw has complete handles and can finish strong to the basket with either hand! He is complimented by a solid team performance as the Timberwolves share the ball nicely. However John “Captain” Morgan finished Saturday’s games with a resounding down the middle of the lane left handed cuff dunk on 2 people to sum up his double double average for today! Captain Morgan will be a steal for any NCAA division team.

Also on court 2 this afternoon was the strong play by mini “Charles Barkley” power forward swing player for the Mooresville Magic 17U team #42 Myles Washington is big strong and fast at 6’4″ 210 lbs.{generously} of lean mean rebounding hooping machine. Mr. inside with dominant post moves, offensive/defensive rebounding skills and has the innate ability to rebound and bring up the ball and finish strong at the hoop to control the game at will. The Magic also has a Steve Nash type player with definite 3 point range in #5 Zane Hagland 5’11” 165 lbs. Zane has a head up ball handling pass first knock down 3 mentality! He is in constant motion offensively and defensively and finds the open man the effortlessly.

PSB Elite Team Wade has a bunch of good players but the 2 standouts were #10 6’1″ G Tate Johnson and #15 6’2″ G Brandon Ellington who provided a knock out 1 – 2 punch as they combined for 40 points and 10 rebounds and 15 assists collectively for PSB Elite. However in the same game there was an undersized dynamo playing in the post for Team Your Future #20 6’0″ F Elijah Mushagasha who was relentless on the boards and put up a crazy double double with 24 points and 15 rebounds in a losing effort.

PSB Elite Team McDonald 6’4″ G/F AJ Morris shot lights out for PSB hitting 7 of 8 three pointers finishing the game with 25 points to lead them to victory against Team Your Future. PSB Elite Team McDonald was also lead by two NC HS State Champions; #21 Hunter Sedergren {NCHSAA 2A Champion} was Mr. Hustle doing everything on the offensive/defensive boards averaging a double double with 10 points and 15 rebounds as a small forward guard combo. #22 Trey Belin {NCHSAA 3A State Champion} had a solid performance averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds in 2 games.
