2028 Za’Miya Bynum (Queens Grant)
Bynum is such a special and talented guard here in North Carolina, and she should start earning more national attention with what she is able to provide on the court. Bynum is a dynamic guard, to put it mildly, as she is such a gifted scorer from all levels of the court. She is excellent off the bounce, getting to her spots, creating paint touches, finding ways to create space for herself, and showcasing strong range from outside. Once she gets the ball in her hands, she is on the attack and can fill it up with ease. Easily a high-major guard here in North Carolina.
2027 Amani Barner (Myers Park)
Barner has really improved since we first saw her at this event a few years back. She has really added more to her overall game, flourishing with her versatility on the court. Barner quickly showed her ability to score the ball off the bounce as well as knock down shots, but also understands how to run the show, see the floor, bring value in other areas, and really find ways to impact the game on the glass as well. It is easy to see why she holds multiple offers from D1 and D2 schools, as she looks to be in for a big season ahead.
2026 Kellum Brown (New Hanover)
Brown started the night off in style, going for 35 points and showing what we have been saying for quite some time now… he is a scholarship-level player that college coaches need to check out more. At 6’5, he continues to bring a ton of versatility to the floor, scoring from multiple levels, showcasing strong range and confidence from outside, making plays off the bounce, and bringing a ton of versatility to the court. Brown is comfortable in bringing value to multiple positions, as he has started off the season with a strong statement, and he could be in for a big senior season.
2027 Martay Barnes (Central Florida)
Coming in as a premier prospect nationally, Barnes impressed with his overall skill set, scoring, and feel. He plays with a good pace and under control, sees the floor and is able to find his teammates inside, and flourishes with his ability to score the ball from multiple levels. Whether it was knocking down shots from deep, or making plays off drives, Barnes did a great job in mixing it up all over the court. He is a quick creator and helped lead a balanced offensive attack in a thrilling game.
