2029 Kingston Cardwell (Mallard Creek)
Cardwell has been strong here at the camp so far. Strong, physical guard that can put on a show offensively. An effective three-level scorer from multiple levels, Cardwell creates well off the dribble in getting to his spots, displaying strong range, forcing the action and creating contact, and thrives as an overall leader for this team.
2027 Jared Ward (Cuthbertson)
Ward had a good show early on to start the day, as he led his team in scoring on Day 2. When watching him, Ward was able to be an effective weapon off the ball, getting to his spots and finding the open spots, and consistently knocking down perimeter shots with confidence. He proved to be a strong option from outside but also mixes it up well with his strength and ability to attack.
2028 Kam Lucas (Phoenix Montessori)
Lucas has been a prospect we have highlighted in the past and I’m eager to see what he can provide for this team at Phoenix Montessori. He presents a good overall frame, along with athleticism that allows him to impact the game both offensively and defensively. He thrives with his ability to get downhill and get to the rim, while also being a threat from outside. Add to that his ability to be a defensive presence, and he is able to thrive as an impact player.
2027 Cayden Lewis (Maiden)
Lewis continues to impress with his ability to create offense and make plays as a scoring guard. A shifty ball-handler, Lewis does a great job of getting to his spots, creating separation, and knocking down tough jumpers. He also attacks the basket effectively, using his quickness and feel for the game to put pressure on defenders and generate scoring opportunities.
2028 Gaige Lawson (Thomas Jefferson)
Lawson proved to be a key catalyst for his team, impacting the game in a variety of ways. Lawson excelled in transition, attacking with purpose and creating opportunities off the bounce for both himself and his teammates. He showed good playmaking instincts, scored effectively when called upon, and consistently made winning plays throughout the game. His all-around performance left a strong impression and highlighted his value on the court.
2030 CJ Dial (Westchester County Day)
Dial is going to be a freshman worth watching early on, as he has a lot of factors that clearly stand out as a young prospect. Dial has good positional size early on to go with a strong feel for the game, as he displays IQ, feel, and touch with the ball in his hands. He can effectively be a perimeter threat off the ball but uses his size well to create. However, he plays well within the game of what his team needs.
2028 Omari Whiteside (Carolina International)
Whiteside once again showed why he is such a dangerous scoring threat, leading the way on Day 2. The tough, gritty guard consistently created his own offense, attacking downhill with confidence and getting to his spots to score. Whiteside’s ability to put pressure on the defense and generate points in a variety of ways makes him a constant offensive weapon.
