2029 Carib Morris (Legacy Carolina)
Morris, who is a 6’2 young prospect, instantly caught my eye with her play and feel for the game. Learning more about her, she looks to be a name already trending as a big-time prospect in the Class of 2029. Holding multiple offers and part of Team USA, Morris is an absolute matchup nightmare with her size, perimeter feel, and overall skillset. She can operate down in the post and finish with touch, as well as be a force on the glass. But what intrigues you the most is her comfort level from the perimeter, defending outside, showing strong handles, and her ability to be a big threat from the perimeter. Easily looks to be a national prospect in her class.
2028 Elijah Hall (Metro All-Stars)
Hall was quite impressive with his game, as he went off for a 30+point showing and did it all. A smooth 6’4 scoring guard came out strong with his athleticism, finishing strong at the rim and continued that with his ability to attack downhill and score over defenders. Overall though, he was a three-level scorer from inside and out, operating from the perimeter well and picking his spots, but also mixing it up extremely well.
2031 Davari Tuck (CP3 Elite)
Tuck is a young prospect that you will be hearing about down the road we believe. He is one that offers a lot of production and just knows how to make plays. Tuck has been consistent with his downhill ability, being aggressive and physical off the bounce, getting inside the defense and finishing strong around the basket, and just finding ways to play with a strong motor. Each time we have viewed him, he has been a strong offensive weapon.
2028 Xavier Hall (Mentality Elite)
A player that you will find near the top of the rankings in the coming years, the big is an absolute force on either side of the ball. Offensively, he uses his big frame to operate in the paint and finish with touch. He powers through contact, displays strong hands, and just has a knack for finding opportunities on the glass; strong and impactful rebounder on the court. Defensively, he is such a tremendous presence in blocking and altering shots. Hall is a truly impactful big and should find his name as one of the premier talents in the state.
2029 Ricardo Oriol (Apex Spurs)
Oriol is a new name that we learned about at the event, and he certainly earned his name to be on our watch list here in NC. The playmaking guard did it all in helping run the show, whether it was creating and pushing out in transition, scores well off the bounce and with flare, finds ways to set up his teammates, and makes overall high IQ plays. Love his balance in running the show and leading the team.
2030 Londyn Carter (Team Thrill)
Carter was an intriguing young prospect on the girls’ side, as she plays with a mature overall feel. She played with poise and a strong feel, attacked well off the bounce, and found ways to score around defenders off the dribble. She attacked well to get to the basket, played with pace, and made high IQ plays. She showed that she can be a true game-changer on the court for her team.
2028 Kaiden Smith (Carolina Culture)
Another new name that grabbed my attention, Smith showed a good base to his game with his ability to be a strong presence in the post, score with touch and attack the glass, create opportunities on second-chance points, and also show that he is capable of stepping out. Smith was able to flourish in understanding how to be a big, keeping the ball high, and finishing through contact as well as face up. He is a name to start tracking for sure.
