2025 6’4 Malachi Cooper (Ridge View)
Cooper is one that we have highlighted on several occasions throughout the summer and I still believe he could be a useful piece for a future program. He has the size and shot-making ability that should garner attention from college coaches, whether it is off the dribble or catch-and-shoot situations. Cooper has shown that he can open up the offense with his range but also make plays in other ways offensively, proving to bring value to the table. He is also comfortable in getting to the rim as well.
2025 5’11 Nigel Chivers (Cardinal Newman)
Chivers was a guard that grabbed my attention with his play throughout the camp. The 5’11 guard gave us plenty of flashes of his impact and role on the team, being a playmaker for himself and others throughout. He presents as a tough matchup for opponents with how quick he is, using that speed to get by defenders, attacking out in the open floor, and also penetrating inside and setting up for others. He played with an unselfish mindset on several occasions, making the right play and hitting the open man but also finishing well.
2025 6’0 Reggie Mack (Ridge View)
Mack’s improvement as a prospect can’t be denied; he plays with poise and composure, is a true floor general on the court, understands how run an offense effectively, and makes strong reads to set up and find his teammates. Mack is a very good decision-maker, reading what the defense is doing and setting up his teammates really well. But he can also make you pay with his ability to knock down shots as well as create off the dribble. Overall, you just have to like his composure on the court.
2025 6’3 Nathaniel Hughes IV (Brookland Cayce)
Hughes had a very good showing at the camp, especially with what he showed in Game 2. Hughes was able to show more of his scoring production, spotting up and finding his spots, attacking strong and finishing inside, and also showing his consistency with his mid-range game. He was an active creator and showed that he can be an efficient offensive presence on the court. Hughes mixed it well offensively and played hard, as he was one of several that grabbed our attention.
