2027 Cylan McLeod (SC Blazers)
The SC Blazers have continued to have a strong summer, and their players should receive more recognition from others. Multiple players have thrived this summer, and at this event, McLeod was the one who really captured our attention. McLeod is a long guard who thrives with quickness and speed, the ability to get out in transition and attack, score off the bounce, and be a constant threat from the perimeter. Game after game, he was able to produce offensively, mixing it up and really thriving with his overall speed.
2028 Hunter Gerould (Phenom Williams)
Gerould is a name we have seen on so many occasions, and he continues to impress with his blend of size, length, athleticism, and the ability to score from multiple levels. The wing prospect thrives in attacking off the dribble and using his athleticism to his advantage, finding ways to finish or get to the rim. However, he does a great job as well in being a threat in catch and shoot from outside and rising up with his jumper to score over defenders. I expect him to continue to catch the attention of some this summer and bring that presence even more in the upcoming high school season.
2027 Zyon White (Team Charlotte)
White has really started to pop off over the last year or so, and it can be easy to see. When you talk about his game as a prospect, White is intriguing with his size and length, along with his confidence as a huge perimeter threat. He doesn’t second-guess his ability to stretch the floor, hunt for his shot, and be a big threat from behind the arc as well as his mid-range game. But one can also see he is adding more to his game of how he can make an impact in other areas, including rebounding, facilitating, and defense.
2029 Henry Walters (XLXB)
Walters delivered a strong all-around performance with his ability to impact the game as both a shot-maker and playmaker. He moved the ball well, cut effectively, and created quality opportunities in transition. Walters stayed active defensively on the ball, while offensively, he maximized his touches and showed strength finishing around the basket. His balanced skill set and feel for the game continue to stand out.
2028 Kyle Bridgewater (PSB Elite Dorsey)
Bridgewater may have been my biggest surprise of the event, starting as a player that I didn’t know much about coming in but walked away super impressed and eager to see what he can do next season. Bridgewater thrived in so many areas for his team, whether it was creating for himself with strong drives and finishes, getting to his spots and knocking down tough shots from all levels, and also being a strong facilitator with strong vision in finding his teammates. This could be just the start for him, as he clearly put his name on our radar with his overall play throughout the weekend.
