2024 Caden Giles (D1 Stars): Really liked what I saw out of the forward to start the evening, as he was impressive on both sides of the court. Giles was effective in scoring around the basket with a soft touch, understands angles, and uses his body really well. But he also made multiple plays defensively in blocking shots and attacking the boards. Very intriguing prospect to keep an eye on, but he made himself known to start the event.
2025 Gevonte Ware (1of1): We think it is only a matter of time before more schools start coming his way, as Ware has a lot to like with his game. And now that he is back healthy, he really was able to display his impact around the paint. Moving well, showing how strong he can be to battle through contact, his instincts to get on the glass, and has a nice feel with his back to the basket or touch around the rim. Good to see him back on the court and think he could be a prospect to really watch for this summer.
2025 Jaylen Claggett (BSA): Claggett continues to make his mark and step up when his team needs him to. Today, he was able to get to his spots and knock down shots from a variety of levels, but also didn’t settle, put the ball on the deck to get downhill, and was able to get to the line consistently. Claggett understands where he excels and continues to be a valuable piece to his team.
2025 Eli Ellis (Team Loaded): It was great to see Ellis back and he certainly hasn’t missed a step with his game and his overall impact. Ellis looks bigger and stronger, but his game continues to speak for itself. He is a guard that just has a tremendous feel in being able to create, embrace contact, find ways to score around defenders, and can hurt you in so many ways. It is always a joy to watch him in action, as he led the charge on Day 1.
2024 Richard Goods (Team Loaded): Goods is one that I believe should be catching more eyes and will be doing so playing with Team Loaded. Goods though can be such a tough matchup on the court, as he displays tremendous athleticism and physicality at his position. The big man plays with an aggressive nature and shows that he can be big piece and a consistent presence around the basket.
2024 Sebastian Akins (1of1): Akins has been playing extremely well over the last month or so and played extremely well on Day 1. Akins plays with such a mature feel to his game, as he shows a tremendous ability in making plays off the dribble, getting into the paint, knocking down shots with a smooth release, but also dishing it off to set up his teammates.
2024 Grant Hamilton (CC Elite): Hamilton is an absolute competitor; you have to love how he plays and how he competes, and he is one that college coaches should be looking at him more. What you have to like about his game is how he can switch his game up, whether knocking down threes or making plays off the dribble; he is simply tough and finds ways to produce. Love his pace, love his feel, and love his vision on the court.
