2028 Chacho Womack (West Charlotte)

Another freshman to watch out for in the state of North Carolina, Womack has a strong feel for the game and plays with tremendous poise on the court. Effective scoring option and confident scorer from all levels of the court. Leading the charge this season, Womack is a fluid yet confident scoring option with his pull-up game from all levels but he also is able to create paint touches. I really like his overall feel within the framework of the offense.

2028 DJ Lindsey (Charlotte Country Day)

Lindsey continues to impress and thrive as a young point guard here in NC. Each time we watch him, he shows control and is in command of running the offense overall. He played well off the ball on Day 1 in being a confident threat from behind the arc, knocking down multiple threes. But overall, he was a terrific playmaker on the court, getting to his spots, making smart decisions, and playing with a great pace/feel.

2025 Jordan Watford (Lancaster)

The Queens commit continues to flourish all over the court, which is why we are excited to see how he is used at the next level. Everywhere you look, Watford finds ways to bring production whether it is scoring and creating, facilitating to others, rebounding and creating extra opportunities, but also being a defensive presence wherever he can be. He filled it up in a tough, gritty win on Day 1 for his team.

2027 Lusemo Macharia (Independence)

Macharia is one we have highlighted several times before but you can see that he has continued to develop nicely and added more to his game, along with his confidence level. A 6’6 forward who moves well, finds ways to be engaged and has a good wingspan that allows him to be strong offensively around the basket as well as a presence defensively. Macharia brought tremendous energy on the glass but also was a strong presence scoring-wise for his team.

2027 Braylen Hill (Hickory Ridge)

I believe that Hill was the x-factor that ultimately helped earn his team the victory. Travien Williams excelled but Hill could create off the bounce, get inside the defense for his pull-up game, and knock down open shots from the perimeter that helped earn the victory today. He finished with 20 big points in a tight game, as he really did a great jo in getting to his spots to score.

2028 Chase Smith (Queens Grant)

Big fan of this young man and he is quite impressive with his ability to produce and how comfortable he is as a freshman. He checks a lot of boxes early on and we will only have to see where he goes from here, but he was an absolute force down in the paint and on the glass, scoring with touch as well as running the floor well. Even gave us a glimpse of his ability to step out and be a threat as a big man.

2026 Justyn Whitfield (VCCS)

Whitfield has been a proven piece for this team for some time now, and he showed up big once again with a 32-point performance to secure the victory. Whitfield continues to shine as the focal point offensively, creating exceptionally well for himself, scoring from all levels, hurting opponents from deep, and being crafty in attacking as well. He mixes it up so well and that was on full display on Day 1.

2028 Jaleel Smith (Hunter Huss)

Smith continues to be an impressive freshman on the court, leading the charge, dictating the game and pace, creating for himself well, forcing the action and finding ways to get to the line, and being a consistent two-way presence on the court. Smith found ways to get to the free throw line today, battling for possessions, attacking the defense, and also making a strong presence defensively to create multiple steals. Smith continues to thrive and prove why he is one of the best prospects in his class.
