2028 Jalen Paige (PAL Stars)
Page was a highly effective presence throughout Day 1 for his team, as the 6’4 prospect was able to consistently be a strong presence around the basket. He brings athleticism, physicality, and length at his position. Paige was effective in taking opponents off the bounce as well as finishing strong through defenders, as he was an offensive weapon throughout.
2029 King Lewis (Carolina Stars)
Lewis is an intriguing young prospect who brings a strong blend of size, length, and skill to the court. He showed his ability to score with confidence, scoring from multiple levels while also displaying versatility in how he impacts the game. Lewis’ combination of physical tools and shot-making ability makes him a prospect with plenty of upside moving forward.
2032 Daniel Perry (Grind Life)
At his age, it wasn’t hard not to notice Perry with his size and height. He carved out space down in the paint, getting to the block and finishing well with touch around the basket. He was a really strong presence with his ability to push defenders around and attack the glass, creating extra opportunities for himself.
2029 Noah Melvin (1of1 Elite)
Melvin has really put himself on my radar with his overall presence. He brings solid positional size, but what impresses me the most is how well he blends into an offense, finding ways to impact the game. He can defend, make smart decisions and good reads, and prove to be an option as a scorer when it is there, but doesn’t force anything.
2029 Jazon Reynolds (Team Slay)
Reynolds is a crafty guard who excels at getting downhill and creating scoring opportunities off the dribble. He uses strong footwork and tight ball-handling to navigate defenders and get to his spots effectively. Reynolds showcased his scoring ability in the win over Harvest Development, proving he can be a reliable offensive option.
2027 Corell Jeffries (Team Imagine)
Jeffries was a high-energy scorer who brought a dynamic presence to the guard position. He plays above the rim, showing athleticism that separates him from others, and is a capable three-point shooter who can get going quickly and knock down multiple shots in a row. Jeffries produces both in energy and on the stat sheet, making him a dangerous and impactful offensive weapon.
2028 Jordan Mabor (CP3)
Mabor will certainly be a name you hear a lot more in the Class of 2028 here in North Carolina, and you have to love his presence on both sides of the ball. A rim-running big that brings tremendous athleticism in finishing at the rim or displaying touch offensively, but also excels as a shot blocker in protecting the basket defensively. A lot of potential and high upside with his game, as he could be in for an even bigger eye-opening summer.
2029 Brayden Adams (Triad Elite)
Adams was a player who grabbed my attention with his production, competitive nature, and overall presence on the floor. Though undersized compared to other players at times, he never backed down and continued to stay assertive with his play, attacking downhill and off the bounce and finishing strong at or around the rim. He was a consistent and strong piece for his team throughout Day 1.
