2031 Chase Neeley (Kernersville Bulls)

Neeley was one that caught my attention with his handles, playmaking, and creativity. Neeley has intriguing length to go along with a good overall skillset. He attacked downhill, pushed in transition, was able to showcase the ability to create and score effectively. A young name to keep an eye on.

2030 Michai Sutton (Reidsville Tigers)

Sutton is a name you may be hearing more down the road with what he showed on the court. Tough, gritty guard that competes on both ends, does a great job in controlling the game and making strong reads, and just does what is needed for his team to win. For a guard, he creates well for himself and plays hard on the glass.

2030 KJ Kelly (BBB Elite)

Kelly was a new name that earned my attention with his overall feel and pace. He controlled the game well as a young guard, created well off the bounce and attacked the paint, and understood how to be a smart playmaker on the court. Kelly was comfortable in leading the way and being a scoring factor on the floor each time we watched him.

2026 Adam Grier (Team FLY)

It was good to see Grier in action over the weekend, as the 6’3 guard was able to flourish not only as a scorer but as a playmaker overall for his team. Good overall size, Grier displayed his ability to attack off the dribble and penetrate, get inside the defense and finish at the rim, and also show instincts in finding others. Brought a balanced attack overall.

2029 Grant Duggins (CP3)

Duggins has all the early intangibles that you have to like in a young big man; a strong understanding of the game and his position, he excels with his feel and presence in the post, shows touch and feel around the basket finishing over defenders well, and has tremendous timing on the glass on both sides. Duggins continues to show that he has a chance to be a big name here in NC for his class.

2028 AD Dalton (NLPB)

Dalton is a big man that I’ve been high on and he continues to get better each time we see him. When you just look at him, he passes the eye test with his strength and physicality but diving more into his game, he gives you those flashes of his ability to be a force in the paint, finish through contact, and can stretch the floor as well. I expect him to only continue his growth as a prospect and be a name in NC that many will know.

2027 Donyeh Baird (NLPB Blue)

It was good to see Baird back on the court and remind us a bit of his game. Big guard that was an x-factor throughout Day 1, reminding us all of his ability to break down defenders, scoring and creating off the dribble, finishing through contact, but also making smart decisions in making plays for others.

2028 Mason Murphy (Carolina Bulldogs)

Murphy is a player of a lot of interest as he was able to excel in a variety of ways. At 6’4 and with his fluidity, he was able to flourish inside and out, running the court, creating off the bounce, and being able to score in the paint as well as knock down outside jumpers. Again, with his blend of skill and size, he proved to be a touch matchup on the court that can fill it up.
