2025 6’9 Jaden Toombs – Dynamic Prep

The SMU commit proved why he was going to be one of the better bigs in this event, if not the top big man.  Putting on a strong showing, Toombs finished with an impressive double-double with 24 points on 10-for-12 shooting and racking up 13 rebounds.  Toombs was truly effective and efficient on both sides of the ball, displaying quickness at 6’9 to get around defenders, a strong feel in the post as well as running the floor from spot to spot, and also having such a knack/great timing on the glass as well.

2027 6’8 Ryan Hampton – Dynamic Prep

Hampton, who is already regarded as one of the top prospects in the class, was able to flourish and showcase his potential and feel as just a sophomore. There is a lot to like about this prospect and one can easily see the potential and upside as he continues to develop and get stronger. Incredible wingspan and length that he uses really well to his advantage, both offensively and defensively. Hampton can create really well and get downhill to attack the basket or get to his spots to rise up over defenders with ease. But loved his defensive presence on the court as well on Day 1, something that shouldn’t go unnoticed.

2028 6’1 Malik Brunson Jr – Keenan

Though there were a few players that grabbed our attention from this team that we have watched, it was the freshman that I was highly intrigued with again. The 6’1 freshman came in and wasn’t afraid of the spotlight, showing what he has shown in the past in getting downhill and attacking. Brunson just has a knack for finding ways to score tough baskets or getting to the line, really forcing the action against older and more experienced prospects. He wasn’t afraid to attack and produce, and believe there is a lot of upside with his game as he continues to expand and show more of his overall impact.

2025 6’1 Eli Ellis – Moravian Prep

What can you say about this young man that hasn’t already been said… Ellis quickly put on a show in this game and showed just how dynamic of a scorer and playmaker he is on the court. His range is off the charts, pulling up far beyond the arc and knocking them down, showing IQ in his ability to make plays and create fouls, his pace and craftiness, and impact the game in other ways. But you simply can’t get past how effortless it looks at times in how this 6’1 guard scores the ball; he put on a show on Day 1.

2025 6’8 Deondrea Lindsey – Oak Hill

We have said it before and will say it again, Lindsey is one of those players that just finds ways to impact the gam and help win games. He doesn’t always have to be a scoring factor on the court, as he understands how to make plays in other areas of the floor and plays with a motor. But on Day 1, he was a scoring force and was highly efficient, scoring at the rim, stretching the floor with his 3-point shooting (4-for-5), and rebounded really well. He had an impressive 23pt, 10reb performance on Day 1 and a school is going to get a nice piece at the next level.

2026 6’7 Howard Williams – Oak Hill

I love watching this young sophomore play on the court and believe there is more left in the tank as he develops. But you don’t see too many 6’7 young prospects that bring such versatility on the court. Williams showcased his ability to be used in various ways, whether it was being strong on the glass (seven rebounds), pushing and leading in transition, making plays off the bounce and attacking downhill, or scoring from the mid-range and three. Williams can be used in so many ways and believe his versatility is going to attract even more programs quickly.

2025 6’5 Bryson Wheatfall – Legacy Early College

Wheatfall had a very good showing in this one and did all he could do to help his team get back into the game. Finishing with 25 points on 9-for-15 from the floor, Wheatfall continues to be an assertive prospect that gets downhill well, creates and embraces contact, and really forces the action.  Time after time, he was able to make plays but mixed in some of his perimeter game as well. He plays with a toughness that you simply have to like. Strong get for Texas A&M Corpus Christi
