2028 Victorian Collins (Concord Academy)

Concord Academy is a very young team, and they have some pieces that you may be hearing about down the road. One of those prospects to keep an eye on is 2028 6’3 Victorian Collins, as she brings excellent size and length, shows flashes of her ability to score around the basket, is active on the glass with her size, and can be an impact player defensively in helping control the paint.

2026 Aiden Roberson (Mallard Creek)

Every time I’ve watched Mallard Creek in action this season, Roberson has been one that has stood out on the court. Once again, he was able to bring value and make plays all over the court, filling up the stat sheet. He is a strong driver and finisher, battling through defenders but also scoring in other ways. But what also impressed was his ability to be active in other ways, whether it was rebounding or making plays on the defensive end.

2027 Manny Vanhook (Burlington Christian)

Vanhook has been a steady presence all season long for this team and continues to be a player that may get overlooked at times but should earn some attention his way. Long guard that is able to score and attack in transition, be a playmaker for others, impacts the game in a variety of areas, and brings a strong presence defensively as well.

2027 Nixon Wright (East Meck)

Wright is a player I believe goes a bit under the radar in the Charlotte area but college coaches should take notice. He brings a lot to the table and still think there is potential with his development. Positionally though, he has great size and is a tremendous athlete in getting to the basket and finishing at the rim. He uses that well to his advantage on both ends as well. He attacked well, forced the action, and put pressure on the defense as well as altering shots defensively.

2026 Cameron Newman (Gaston Christian)

Newman is a crafty, playmaking lead guard who can create for himself and others. His poise, feel, and leadership have Gaston Christian playing at a high level, and his game translates well to the next level. A true winner who will make a Division I program better. He has proven it all season long, as he is a proven leader, embraces the big lights, and brings such a presence to the court for his team.

2028 Kaharri Coleman (West Charlotte)

There is something about this young man’s game that you have to like. Regarded as one of the top prospects in his class, Coleman possesses a nice blend of strength, size, and feel as a guard. He continues to excel with his ability to attack off the bounce and get downhill, getting paint touches consistently. But he is one that can not only score but facilitate as well. You simply have to love his overall activity as a guard whether it is scoring, rebounding, facilitating, or defending, as programs should make him a prime target in the class of 2028 for NC.

2028 Jaleel Smith (Hunter Huss)

Smith has been putting on a show this season, and he did so once again on Day 1 with 37 points in leading an impressive offensive display. He does an exceptional job in being able to create for himself, as well as others, as he truly knows how to score the ball in volumes. Does a great job in getting paint touches, finishes strong and at the rim, gets to the line consistently, and plays with a toughness overall.

2027 Travien Williams (Hickory Ridge)

Williams is a player that is really starting to trend the right way and should be opening more eyes with his impact and production. Time after time, no matter the game, Williams finds ways to produce and attack. He brings such a strong overall frame and understands how to use it well. Williams is effective in downhill, scoring even with the defense looking to slow him down, and is a physical rebounder as well.

2026 Matthew Rivlin (Marvin Ridge)

Rivlin is a well-rounded wing who impacts the game in multiple areas. He consistently applies pressure attacking downhill, thrives in the open floor, and knocks down shots from the perimeter. On the other end, he outworks opponents on the glass and makes his presence felt defensively by forcing turnovers. A high-motor, two-way contributor who brings value on both ends of the floor.
