2027 Khaleil Walters (No Guts No Glory)

Walters is one that I was highly impressed by early on this summer, and from what we have seen so far, he could be in for an eye-opening summer for college programs. We have known about his game for some time now, but he looks like a man on a mission to prove himself in a big way. A truly effective scoring option that can fill it up from all over the court, Walters looks bigger, stronger, and is relentless in his attack. He can score off the bounce, finish through contact, use his size to his advantage, and score from the perimeter, something he has shown countless times before.  When watching him early on at our event, Walters clearly looked ready to make a statement about his game.

2027 Matt Allen (TLBA)

I really liked what I saw from Allen early on this season, leading the way for TLBA and showcasing that he can be that No. 1 threat on the court.  He has the size you like, along with an excellent feel for the game and IQ. Allen can be one of the biggest weapons with his ability to knock down shots from multiple levels, whether it is playing off the ball and looking for his shot deep, or just being able to create and get to his spots; he has shown that he is fully capable of putting on a clinic offensively and doing so all over the court. And seeing that at our events, it is clear that Allen should have more D1 schools coming his way.

2027 Jayon Connor (CP3)

If you want to talk about a player who brings energy to the court, Connor would fit that picture extremely well. Connor has seen his stock consistently rise but this could be the breakout summer he has been waiting for, and he is letting everyone know early on that he is ready to shine. A 6’7 versatile and fluid prospect, he plays with a high motor, is relentless in his attack, runs the floor really well in transition, scores at the rim, and continues to shine as a tough matchup on the court at his position. Based on what we have seen across multiple events, Connor should be moving up the board for many college programs in the region.

2027 Travien Williams (1of1)

Getting a chance to watch Williams in action early on, it was pretty clear that he is ready for an eye-opening spring/summer and that more D1’s should be getting on board. Williams is tough; not only is he one of the best downhill scoring guards in the state, but it is clear that he continues to thrive in so many roles on the court. Offensively, he is one who can get to his spots when he wants and where he wants, finishing strong, embracing contact, and showing excellent change of speed to create opportunities. But he is also showing more of his game as a point guard, facilitating and running the offense. He was impressive this past month, and I believe should be seeing his stock rise big time this summer.

2027 Markus Kerr (Team United)

Look, I’ve gone on record that Kerr was one of the top prospects in his class here in North Carolina and that there is so much to like about his game with his age.  I also believe that he could be a prospect in the Class of 2026 and have a strong future at the next level if he wanted to go back to his original class. Bu Kerr, in the Class of 2027, should be racking in offers from around the country, and he not only showed that on the Phenom platform but also on the national stage as of late. He has the size at 6’6/6’7, he can score and operate from multiple levels with ease, and he brings such a diverse game that allows him to fit into so many systems at the next level and be a key piece on the court. And I do believe there is still more left in the tank when it comes to development.  Again, no matter if he is in 2026 or 2027, Kerr has proven early on that his stock is rising on a national level to start the season.
